Love this very strong well made using it as a fresh water reservoir for my fish tank

I don't recommend this item. It utilizes a barbed fitting that connects to a thin rigid tubing with some light glue. As others have stated it sucks in air. Mine sucked so much air my liquid couldn't even pull out of the rigid tubing. Whats worse is it seems they have done nothing about the review feedback for these leaks. I liked the containers and the look. It fits perfectly in front of my sump setup. Im pretty industrious so I tried to fix the leak. Instead of gluing the rigid tubing to the barb fitting I used Teflon tape. I wrapped the rigid tubbing to make a tight fit and twisted them together. I then wrapped the threads (screws onto container) and further down onto the rigid tubing. See photo. I found it still leaks. This means the air is from the barbed fitting. Far and away to much of a pain. Understand if your dose pump things its dosing drops, but half are air, your not dosing the right amount. This air sucking container will negate your fancy peristaltic pump if you can't dose the right amount. I was willing to try and repair but find it is beyond what I'm invested in this container.
