Great Performance
The power cable is resolving and detail. I plugged into my Yamaha A-S2200 amplifier. I have another same power cable but 1.5M for the CD transport. The sound stage is great and bass is more solid. More musical and enjoyment for listening. Very satisfy with the quality and build. Worth for the money and improvements.Subsequently I have ordered another 2M power cable for the tube amplifier.

Great value for subwoofers, pretty good for anything else
I purchased two Audiocrast power cords for my momās AV system: one for the receiver (Pioneer Elite SC-81) and one for the subwoofer (Martin Logan Grotto). The Audiocrast yielded immediate improvements with the subwoofer, compared to the stock cord, and the sound subtly improved with burn-in. Playing 2-channel music, the sub sounds more integrated with the FL and FR speakers. With movies, the lowest frequencies (around 25 Hz) sound tighter and more controlled, somewhat less prone to clipping at high volumes. For budget power cords, I still prefer the Pangea AC-9 Mk II for subwoofers. However, if you donāt want to spend $140 + for the Pangea, the Audiocrast is a no-brainer. Itās a superb value if youāre looking for modest improvements in subwoofer performance.Iām less enthusiastic about the Audiocrast cord paired with the receiver. At first, the Audiocrast sounded murky with rolled-off treble. The stock cord, in comparison, sounded a bit brighter with more defined highs. After about 40 hours of burn-in, the Audiocrast has improved. Itās still somewhat dark sounding, but the treble has emerged nicely and the mids have filled out. The stock cord still sounds more sparkly on the high end, but the Audiocrast might catch up someday. With the Audiocrast, the soundstage is less forward and a bit more coherent. The differences are subtle and, if youāre not doing a direct A-B comparison, you might not notice a difference between the Audiocrast and the stock cord. Depending on the type of gear youāre using, you would probably get more significant improvements in sound by upgrading your speaker wire and/or interconnects. But that could get expensive. If you want significant improvements in sound from a budget power cord going to a receiver or source component, I would recommend the Signal Cable MagicPower cord @ around $110. If thatās too expensive, then I would recommend the Audiocrast. Just keep your expectations fairly low, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Very impressive, and well constructed power cable for less.
The built quality was very impressive! I did not know what to expect at this price point, but it exceeded my expectations in sounds quality, which matched the quality of construction.

Quality of craftsmanship needs improvement!
The cable arrived with the ground prong (on the male end) very loose. I did not test the cable for its sonic offerings. The cable appeared attractive but it was unsafe to audition.

Great Upgrade To Stock
I have been an Audiophile since I was 13, I grew up with a father who was obsessed with sound quality. I've also worked in many Hi End shops and have done hundreds of tests and comparisons of different stereo equipments, cables, speakers and so on. And I can say truthfully from the hundreds of tests I've done that upgrading certain items really make a difference depending on what equipment you have. It wouldn't make sense to upgrade something that isn't worth upgrading.I read the review of the man who wrote snake oil and although it's his opinion, he has no idea of what he was speaking of or he falls under the not worth upgrading equipment. For me, I own many products from Theta, Richard Gray, Krell and Sonus Faber and can assure you that upgrading cables make a difference. Now if you have an entire stereo that maybe cost you $300, would it made sense to upgrade any cables? Would you add a $100 cable to an item that is worth less than $300?This is a great cable, and yes, it makes a sonic difference, I first connected it to my Richard Gray 400 and connected my TV and noticed the TV giving me a brighter and clearer picture, I then connected my Google Home Max and noticed a major difference in the bass compared to the stock cable for the Richard gray. I then connected this cable to my Krell CD player and played Jazz Music and it really made a difference. Now, that difference in audio sound only worked great for low to medium volumes, it started losing sonic quality at loud volumes which may be due to me not giving it enough time to break in.Also, I really don't think this is shielded well, I noticed interference leaking in but it wasn't major and wasn't noticeable when playing music, but I raised the volume all the way on the amp and noticed a sound that wasn't there with the stock cable. Now, is it the best cable on the market? Not even close. Is it better than the stock cable? Yes, in every way.Pros:Perfect Gauge to notice a differenceGreat upgrade from Stock cablesThe cable jacket is greatCons:The connectors are cheap, however they are perfect for the price of the cable. It loses sonic quality at high volumes, may be due to not giving it enough time to break inInterference at high volumesAnyone who calls upgrading cables snake oil truly hasn't experienced a comparison test, I highly recommend making an appointment to your local Hi End stereo shop and have them do a demonstration for you, and you will hear/see the difference between cables.

Great Value for High Quality Audiophile Power Cord!
So, I just upgraded my AVR Amp from an older Denon Model to a New Yamaha RX-A3080. Big Amp, Lots of Power for 2.1-music or 9.2.4-Home Theatre Set-up and very Heavy at 43 Pounds! I was shocked at how much quality went into the amp build only to have a flimsy 18 awg power cord included? After a lot of searching I found this to be the absolute best value for an upgraded Power Cord worthy of an audiophile! I feel so much better having this one attached to my new rig than the cheep one the mfc included! I set everything up last night and it Looks and Sounds Fantastic! In fact I think I'm going to buy another one before the price goes up! Look around-these things go for 10 to 100 times more! From honest good value to snake oil !
