Great small light
The flashlight arrived in great condition. It has a high quality feel to it, with no visible problems. It has a 14500 battery that does a good job of lighting the area around. It has to be double clicked to turn it on, which is a first for me but I like it because it helps prevent accidentally turning it on in your pocket. It’s lite weight with a very comfortable and easy to adjust headband. It will make a great light that will work in the house during power disruption or outside. For the price point you can't go wrong but the affordable price, doesn't mean low quality. It definitely is a high quality flashlight.

Superior item. Good company.
Additional Update: The replacement flashlight has been holding up very well. Charging easily. Being used frequently. As well, I found the old one. Thankfully I hadn't thrown it out. While the battery on that one still absolutely refuses to charge, it also takes... a AA or AAA. And, it works fairly well with it. So, now, I have two of them going. One isn't rechargeable, but it doesn't burn through batteries like some flashlights do. I have a black and orange one. Sometimes I have both on. Gives me a lot of adjustable, handsfree, light. And they are bright enough for any of my needs. Since they did me a good turn, I... wanted to add another plug. --------- I received the first one, but the battery wouldn't charge. I tried to return it, ran into all sorts of trouble. Then just ran out of time. I assumed it was a lost cause, so wrote a review. Unlike some companies, they didn't just scramble to figure out how to remove or hide my review, but instead contacted me. Sent me a new one. The second one works perfectly. After the initial charge, I haven't had to recharge since? Crazy, but... And I have it with me as daily wear, and use it quite often. I don't use it as a headlamp, but clip it to my jacket, and use it like a motorcycle's light, centerline, lower. For taking the trash out, on dark mornings... cooking on my griddle later at night, or when dark. Wonderful. I don't know where the first one got to. Didn't realize it took regular batteries. If I find it, I will try that. Still, this one is very good. I am grateful that they took care of the problem. And, now, I am very thankful for the product. It does exactly what I hoped it would do. Just... another good tool, for my odd, sometimes simple, sometimes messy, needs and wants. Very good item. Original Review - "The "chargeable" battery wouldn't take a charge. Had trouble getting a refund ticket, kept dodging an easy way to get it in, so lost my opportunity. Will never buy anything from amazon with those types of batteries. They really jacked me around on a return. Don't buy this thing. It might work, it very well may not. Then good luck doing a return or exchange." - Upgraded from one to five start.

A lot of light for the money.
This is a bright, versatile, and very well executed light. With one very annoying QAQC flaw. If the end cap for the battery uncrews even just the slightest little bit. (Which it will all the time.) The light won't turn on. Even if you tighten the cap as tight as possible. There isn't enough friction to keep it on tightly. And the circuit contact surface is so miniscule that even the slightest bump will cause the circuit to open. Save for this one flaw. The light is nearly perfect for edc. And has replaced the much more expensive Fenix light I've been carrying for years.

Great 14500 light, AA option nice but VERY limited
Summary: Great all around 14500 right angle light; AA option nice but inefficient and low brightness I wanted a 14500 right angle light that could be a useful all-arounder and good CRI. The magnetic base works well. Light modes on the 14500 are also useful. It has a wide, defined hotspot. Since I wanted it for closer up work, I placed DC fix film on the lens to smooth out the beam. Good mode selection, including "ultra-low" from off. However, if you are looking for a sub-lumen "moonlight" mode, you will need to use a AA... however with a AA, the higher modes are not very bright and have low run times. Decent run times for usable close work with the 14500. Please remember that higher CRI lights often have lower run times (or lower brightness) from equivalent lower CRI options. This is a higher CRI light for those of us that appreciate more accurate color rendering, like when trying to identify colored wires, fuses, paint, etc. Long press from off for ultra low, double click for low, mid, high and mode memory. Double click from on for Turbo. I can't remember what brings on SOS, but I came across that mode from playing around with the clicks so it is there (see manual). For "moonlight" aficionados, with a AA there seems to be two moonlight modes: ultra-low and low. Both seem to be sub 1 lumen to my eyes. The bad, online forums report relatively low run times on mid and high modes when using a AA, so I would not consider this a good emergency light for prolonged use unless you are planning around using the included 14500 and USB charging. Side note: For those looking for an emergency right angle AA light, I prefer the Streamlight Protac 90. No moonlight or magnet (can add one from the hardware store). Additionally, the Streamlight 90's TIR lens can be removed to give a flood beam. Tight hot spot with the TIR. For an all-around, small, task light backup, the Acebeam H16 with the 14500 battery checks a lot of boxes and is very pocket friendly.

I was slightly sceptical about this due to its size, boy was I wrong. It’s outstanding, much brighter than I could’ve imagined. Tiny, lightweight, very sturdily made and great idea that you can charge the battery (quickly) via USB C. Has a magnetic base too, along with a handy clip for your rucksack or pocket for hands free use. Highly recommended.

Must have
