The best heated pad ever.
I've been using Hotties pads for over 15yrs, and can honestly say that they are simply "The best heated pad ever ". They are SO easy to use. I slip my pad and cover into a poly food bag (which I keep just for pad), pop in microwave for 90sec, remove from poly bag and then tuck pad into top of waistband to ease pain in back. The pad can stay warm for up to 10hrs, though if using whilst outside it will be less. As a wheelchair user, I find this pad invaluable, especially in the winter months. If I'm going to be out and about shopping for several hours, I heat pad, wrap it (pad +cover) in double layer of tinfoil, then remove from foil once I get to shopping centre. The pad is then either tucked in the back of my jacket or hidden under my "lap blanket " keeping me warm and, more importantly, reducing the pain I'd feel if I got cold. I've just treated myself to this new pad and cover, and love the new softer fleece material being used as a cover. These are much safer than a hot water bottle, not nearly as heavy to carry about and can be used more discreetly.

Hottie Thermal Heat Packs - has a warm cover in blue with sheep print on it.
I have only used it once as I haven't had it very long and I found it very comforting and easy to use and much better than heating up other heat packs that I have tried. I loved the cover and know that I will use it a great deal more in the future.

Soft, warning sheep.
Having had one of these heat packs previously with a faux fleece cover and given it to my mother, I was keen to replace it. It arrived very quickly and I used it right away. Although you heat it in the microwave without its soft cover, you really do need to put it on to use it as the heat pad does get really hot. Once heated, the pad stays hot for several hours and cools down slowly. Because of its size and shape,it can also be used as a heat pack treatment for pain or injury. I would order again and am happy to recommend this seller.

Just the job
After my hot water bottle leaked, I was looking for a replacement. I Found this hottie whilst searching on Amazon. Due to illness I did struggle filling traditional hot water bottles. Really pleased with this item. I put mine in the microwave for 1 min 20 sec each side. Make sure it turns freely in the microwave. At first you may think it is not warm enough, but give it a few minutes and you'll feel the heat coming through. I find this is a more consistent heat and lasts a lot longer that a hot water bottle. I would be happy to recommend.

Well worth the money
I brought this as I get a lot of pain in my hips. Easy to heat, just 2 minutes in the microwave. Just be aware that it takes about 30 seconds for the heat to come through to the cover once you take it out of the microwave, so don't think it hasn't heated; instead just rub your hand across the cover and as it touches the inside pouch it will become warm and ready to use.

Safe but cool
Nice item, heats easily but cover almost too thick for heat to pass through, took it off and placed in cotton cover to feel the heat. Was tempted to place in microwave for longer but instructions said may burst. If you like a nice hot water bottle you might be disappointed although it did keep warm for longer than a normal wheatbag.

Good buy
This is OK and holds heat longer than you might think, use it as a hot water bottle for cold feet and it works. It could be a bit longer and more flexible but that is all I can fault. I believe you can buy spare gel bags which is useful because they all split eventually.
