Too big to swallow
Too big to swallow! I would like to know who can not only swallow one of these pills but TWO of these pills every day? I choked twice on these. Now, I’m looking for a different brand. Maybe if these ware a gel capsule option or smaller size. I’d rather take four of these at a smaller size.

Great prenatal!
I tried many different prenatal vitamins and this one never bothered my stomach! This brand came recommended from my naturopath.

Best Prenatal Vitamin Ever!
I’ve tried several prenatal vitamins, but this one is by far the best! It’s incredibly easy to take, and I actually look forward to it each day. From the moment I started using it, I felt a noticeable difference in my overall well-being. It gave me the confidence that I was truly getting all the essential nutrients needed for my pregnancy and after. One of the standout features for me is that it contains folate instead of the synthetic folic acid found in many other prenatal vitamins. Knowing that I’m getting the natural form of this crucial nutrient makes me feel even better about my choice. If you’re looking for a prenatal vitamin that is effective, easy to take, and makes you feel great, this is the one. I highly recommend it to any expectant mother!

Great vitamins
Great vitamins, although it came with a slight fishy smell. Unless my senses are heightened, but I thought it smelled fishy.

Great multivitamin, but very large tablets
I am not currently pregnant but nursing an 8 month old, and as advised I am staying on prenatals so that baby gets adequate nutrition from her milk. The nutrient profile in these prenatals fit the bill since they provide more than enough folate, vitamin D, and iron (I sometimes get anemic so having the iron included is a big plus). But what really convinced me was the fact that the metals were chelated. This means that the metals are bound by a compound like an amino acid or Vitamin C. The research is mixed, but when a metal is chelated it is said to be much more easily absorbed than in its raw form. The reason is because once the chelated metal (like iron) hits your mucus membranes and stomach, the chelating compound is hydrolyzed which releases the iron into the body. That, and the fact that Nordic Naturals claims their vitamin's iron content won't upset the stomach is a huge bonus.I have taken these for the first time and I feel like I have a lot of energy and mental clarity. It may be just placebo, or maybe something I have eaten or done the day before is where the energy is coming from, but I am honestly glad I have these to ensure I am getting what I need for the baby. Another thing I noticed was that there is a claim on the bottle that says that none of the ingredients were derived from genetically engineered genes or proteins. I do not mind genetically modified foods, but if you were worried about it then these vitamins are the way to go.There is one big issue that has kept me from giving a perfect score, and that is because these are huge vitamins. It says you're supposed to take 2 a day, but I have no clue how someone going through pregnancy, specifically their first trimester with morning sickness could easily swallow these. I have tried crushing mine to make it easier, but then you have to taste the vitamin itself and it's a strange salty flavor that I am not a huge fan of. I guess I might try mixing them into food and seeing how successful I get. Nowhere on the box or bottle does it say that I can't crush or split these pills, but I am worried if these are coated and should not be crushed (could mess with absorption rates if these are meant to be timed release tablets). Either way, I feel fine and these are just meant to be a supplement anyways.Overall, these are pretty pricey vitamins, but they have everything you need for a healthy pregnancy and are thoughtfully designed to be easily absorbed without causing any discomfort. If you are worried about getting the proper doses of vitamins, I would definitely advise giving these a shot.
