Very nifty!
This is a very handy little thing. Just returned from a long haul flight, and got to try it out finally. I'm pretty short, so sitting on planes and trying to sleep is very uncomfortable. This was easy to use, and kept my feet just elevated enough to keep me quite comfortable. Its well made, and comes in a neat little sack - very easy to roll up and stick in my backpack. Excellent solution for enhanced comfort on long flights. This combined with my neck pillow and eye mask actually allowed me to sleep on a plane for once.

Helpful on long haul
It's a bit awkward to use but did provide a foot rest during two long international airplane rides. It helped me to stretch out a bit and sleep, I plan on only using it on long trips. Because of the foam rectangle, it does take a bit of space, but that part is important. The first foot rest I tried did not have this foam block & was uncomfortable because my feet fell into each other. The strap allows you to make the rest whatever length you need. You can use the foot rest with the tray up or down.

This item has possibilities
These are much better than the foot slings that don't have the middle partition. They work best in Economy Plus class, rather than in standard Economy/Coach class. There needs to be a bit of space in front of you to be able to hang it, and room for the legs and feet to be properly positioned.

nice memory foam, not for coach seats
These won't work in coach/exit rows because there isn't enough space for you to use them/at least on Delta flights, exit rows don't have the pull down tray on the seat in front of you, they pull out from the side armrest, so there is no way to attach/hang it on anything. The memory foam insert isn't attached to the rest of the footrest, so you would have to insert it after. The memory foam is nice though, and while I couldn't use the footrest as intended, the memory foam makes nice lumbar support. It folds away easily in its case, decent design, but I wish there was a way to attach the foam to the hammock part because it made it harder to set up, when I tried to use it as intended. Also it would be cool if it came in other colors.

Worth it if you can't stand to sit with your feet on the floor.
I'm one of those people who cannot sit like normal people. I'm always sitting cross-legged or with my knees to my chest; whatever it takes to keep from standard sitting procedure. It was such a wonderful thing to have this foot rest on my long flight to Europe. I didn't have the urge to shift positions one time the whole flight. The only issue I had with it was that my under seat bag got in the way of my tootsies free floating. Otherwise, it was absolutely worth the investment and the added space it took in my bag. The construction is solid and it's really not very big, either.

Maybe the sellers would like to add that feature to their product one day
It made my feet feel cozy and most importantly elevated on the long overseas trips. However the divider kept getting lost, so I sewed in a piece of velcro to it so that the divider would stay attached. Maybe the sellers would like to add that feature to their product one day.

Broke 3 hours into a 14 hour flight.
While this product was awesome, easy to use & comfortable...... it broke 3 hours into my 14 hour flight! I cannot see how it can be fixed either. I am only if average height & weight, so not reason for it to break. Hopefully the seller will replace or refund as I am not at all happy with spending the money for something so poorly made.

This has become my must-have travel accessory
I felt a bit foolish when I first unfolded this device on a plane, but after about 15 seconds I was completely sold on it. The cushion is very soft and snuggly for your feet - no bones rubbing against each other! You can easily adjust the height of the footrest, which is nice on long flights. The footrest doesn't seem to get in the way of your row-mates when they need to get out into the aisle; it lies pretty flat against the seat back. If your legs are short enough that your feet don't, or barely, reach the floor when you're sitting on a plane seat, I think you'll enjoy this footrest. It's also great for elevating your feet to reduce pressure on the back of your thighs.

Almost works...
Back in the day when there was more space between seats I think this would work well. But sitting in coach with the more limited space it seemed nearly impossible on 4 flights to ever get it to the right distance where your feet could rest on it as shown in the picture. As a result, it was a bit strange in that your calves or ankles might be on it - and that helped to some extent- but you could not get quite to that perfect spot to give you the support that made it so appealing in the first place.

Very happy with it.
Bought it for my trip to Europe. I am petite, and usually cannot find a comfortable position for my legs on the long 12 hours flights. This Foot Rest was a great solution. I kept my feet on it all the time during the flight, and my son kept his feet on mine, and we still felt comfortable :-). And it's very sturdy, it survived through supporting two pairs of legs during our two trips.

I admit, I found a little weird pulling this out of my backpack on my flight to Europe. Believe me when I say, this product will make your flight a lot more comfortable. It's easy to Hang it right off your tray.

We've used these now for long haul flights to China and Europe and this one is great! The foam block in the middle is comfortable and my husband and son prefer this style over one without a block to keep your feet separated. It does take up more bag room with the block.

It keeps your feet from overlapping or that annoying arm rest from digging into your back when using ...
I recently broke my leg and this came in handy not only for the plane, but the Amtrak as well. I can adjust it to keep my cast elevated to any height as long as I have something to hang it on and the divider pillow is a must have. It keeps your feet from overlapping or that annoying arm rest from digging into your back when using it solo.

Great Idea, but doesn't work
Don't waste your money. Unless you are sitting in Business or First Class - there isn't enough space between the seats to effectively use this. The block (which I thought was a great idea to keep your feet separated) isn't attached in any way, and was lost on my first flight using it. It's a great concept, but the current seat configuration on airplanes makes it ineffective.
