Would not work with Roland V-1H+ mixer
When the camera is on, the video signal is clean and the mixer shows all channels .When the camera is off, the video mixer shows flashes on all channels making it impossible to use the mixer.Called J Tech. Changed cameras, ethernet cables, hdmi cables, to no avail.Bought another device from competitor and everything works fine using same camera, ethernet cables and hdmi cables.

Great way to extend an HDMI signal
Works with a single Ethernet cable. Just plug it in and it works.

Good HDMI Extender for 1080P 60Hz
I wanted to see if I could extend HDMI cables further than HDMI cables will reach, so I got this HDMI extender. It could come in real handy. First things first, this is for 1080P, which is NOT 4K. Some reviewers gave this extender a low rating because it worked fine for 1080P, but wouldn’t work for 4K. Now, if it was one of the 4K ones, then okay, but it’s showing up on the non-4K reviews. Others stated that they were unable to go 225’ and still have it work. Well, the maximum range is 200’. Funny thing, products have specifications for a reason.I didn’t try it the full 200’, I stayed very reasonable and stayed well under 100’. At first, it didn’t seem to work, so I unplugged the HDMI cable and plugged it back in. Picture came up the same as with HDMI. I didn’t check for signal loss or any technical details, but the picture looked to be virtually the same as with a straight HDMI cable. The construction is solid and durable. It appears that the case is a powder-coated steel, but it’s non-magnetic, so maybe it’s stainless.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you stay within specs, then this HDMI extender seems to function as it should. Some reviewers said it failed after a month or several months. I haven’t done any long-term testing on the unit.

Nice clear picture
Connected to cat6 cable. Plugged into power on transmitter side. Only connected to cable on receiver end. About a 50 foot length. Picture and sound is perfect

A bit bulkier than other solutions, but a solid picture
These are a bit bulkier than some of the others on the market that I've seen, but the aluminum case is quite lightweight, and I had no issues with transmitting a n HDMI signal from my BluRay player to my projector over a 40' CAT6 cable. Power is provided with the included 12V/1A power supply on the transmitter side, which has not only a standard 5.5mmx2.1mm barrel connector, but an additional thumbscrew for getting a solid attachment, so if you accidentally tug on the wires while moving the equipment, it won't come out.I did ding this rating down from a 5-star for a several reasons.- First, the Cat6 port is labelled LAN. I seriously doubt that you can plug this into a Local Area Network; it needs to be a direct cable from the transmitter to the receiver, and going through a switch would not be supported.- Second, while both the receiver and transmitter have 12V power input ports, you MUST power this from the transmitter side. Other units I've used allow you to power from whichever side is more convenient. It seems silly to have a 12V power input on the receiver if you ALSO have to have one on the transmitter, and if power is transferred across the CAT6 cable. Why would you ever want a separate power supply on the receiver side? (Maybe this is important for really long cables, where power loss may be more noticed than on my little 40' run.)- Third, the one-page documentation/manual has numerous errors in it. - The "Packing Contents" section indicates that a 5V power supply is included, which is incorrect. - The labels on the units don't match the labels printed in the instructions. The instructions indicate that the two labels are DC5V and Cat5e/6. The units are labelled DC/12V and LAN (or LAN/POC) - The instructions and wiring diagram say nothing about providing power. I'm sure you can figure this out, but its yet another omission, and since power can only be provided from ONE side, I think it would be important to note this fact.In short, if you know what you are doing, you likely won't have any issues. But if you are a novice, then you might need to be careful about the installation steps.

Tried a different company. Wasn’t very good. Picture would keep freezing on tv. This purchase worked perfectly over Cat5 cable.
