Perfect
Love it. I was nervous there would be something wrong with it because it was priced so much better than other pots this large. But it's great. My ZZ plant was in desperate need of a new home because it had long outgrown it's old one, it's very happy with this choice! It's sturdy and beautiful.

Very happy with my choice.
A flower given at my father’s funeral needed repotting and the ability to water once a week. This pot was perfect. The plant was root bound but when repotted it has relaxed and looks beautiful.

So cool! I wish I had one for every plant!
This planter was really easy to put together and looks great! My plant is healthy and I only have to check on it every few days! If all my plants were in this kind of planter it would be a game changer. Highly recommend this item! I will absolutely be buying more.

My hibiscus loves it
I was a little nervous repotting my hibiscus. The first day her petals faded and I was worried. That pot worked it’s magic and she more vibrant than ever. The assembly is easy. Don’t force the pieces.

Great value but could use a longer string.
My only complaint is that the string provided with the pot could have been longer.

Missing Water Absorption Rope
It's a nice pot - right size and exactly what I need, but there was no water absorption rope in the package.

Self watering? We'll see.
Just received this generously sized pot and the timing could not have been better. We (rather my wife) fill around fifty flower pots and hanging baskets each spring and she thinks we're a little more than half way to the finish line, having only started roughly a week ago. We learned many years ago that the bigger the container, the bigger the plants will grow, but big plants in big pots require lots of water. We live in South Dakota where summer heat can be as brutal as winter cold and when things really heat-up we often need to water both in the morning and evening. We've had a few so called 'self watering' pots, but those simply had a reservoir in the bottom that didn't really seem to make much difference. This pot has a reservoir as well along with a wick very similar to what an old fashioned lantern would have. The concept sounds interesting and would seem to have some potential, but only time will tell as growing plants demand increasing amounts of water. Any observations or results are obviously going to take time and will be subjective at best. Beyond that all I can say is that this 12" pot is quite attractive and appears to be very well made. It's plastic of course, but that's a bonus in my opinion and it's also much heavier and thicker than typical plastic planting containers. A few of our plantings enjoy each new outdoor growing season before being returned inside to spend the winter months each year. This pot is nice looking enough to be used inside all year long. My advice would be to consider a purchase based upon appearance alone and then be open minded about the self-watering aspects. In other woods, don't leave home with high expectations until you're satisfied that the system works for your plants in your home - or on your patio as is the case for us. My fingers are crossed because I get stuck with most of the watering.
