Bit tricky to understand the app at first. But once you figure it out it really is a great way to store or transfer your media.

The device takes the photos off ok . The down side is the app isn’t the best to use . If the app was better then it would have been 5 stars . Still a handy product.

Not work it

I found this very easy to use and did exactly what I needed which was to back up photos from my iPhone.

It keeps getting jammed :(This is the android side and I need it to use on my laptop. It is very irritating because it will come out when it wants too. Not when I need it.

It took me a while to figure it out but there are a couple of tips.The app is essential!! load it straight away.You do not need an app to use the connection to a windows PC. Just plug it in.When the app is loaded on the iphone look for the blue icon marked PHOTOS. that is the connection to your iphone pictures.From there on it is easy. It was fast, 377 photos and a few videos in 15 minutes.There were ONLY THREE stops out of all that lot and a quick SKIP solved each one.Much easier than i expected .THANK YOU

This is quite nifty – there are times I want to transfer image files to the PC from my phone for long term storage and the cable doesn't always work. It might be that the cable is fine for charging but not good enough for transferring files, or I have to dig around in settings or use the pull down screen to change the function of what the USB cable is doing from charge to transfer (or act as storage), all the time while being sat at my PC with the phone attached.I could send wirelessly over bluetooth but it's slowish and again I need the PC to be on to do it.So now I just plug this in – go to My Files and copy and paste them (or move them), it took about 30 seconds to transfer 250 image files to this little drive. The nice thing is I can transfer them to this drive whenever and wherever I want and download them to my PC later when convenient.it's nicely made and has a slider to select either the Apple plug or the USB plug. The only Issue is that it comes with an adapter to change USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 which could easily get lost. The Apple plug is also protected by a silicone cap due to their fragile nature – good idea. Once the files are transferred simply plug the device into your USB port on the PC to transfer them. Dead useful.

Got this on a whim... does exactly what I wanted, I plug it into my phone and download all my photos off my phone and onto this device - no more needing to sign into my icloud to have to do this
