Had this a few weeks and so far it is doing its job, allowing us to put out food waste overnight without it being used as a click and collect service by hungry foxes. Bought to replace the council-supplied version which broke almost immediately. This seems sturdy and likely to stand up to being bashed about by the rubbish collectors.It did take me a little while to work out that you need to flip the lock mechanism from underneath the rim to lock it. Unlocking is clear enough - just press down the button in the middle of the locking bar, although sometimes it needs a bit of a jiggle to get the lid open. Very happy with it overall.

This is well made and strong. I like the way the lid opens. It's secure yet easy to open.I find the handle at the back makes it easier to carry than the one provided by the council.Recommended.Aware this will become landfill one day so keen to only use plastics when necessary. Need to be gentle with the catch, so maybe not ideal for younger children.

This is such a good garbage can that it has been stolen from me for the third time. If they stealing this, then the garbage bin is actually excellent :D I'll buy another one next week, I hope I've provided everyone with bins in need :)

Definitely keeps the foxes out

I have tried to outsmart the foxes for a while, with this caddy, they have no chance. My neighbour told me there was a fox trying so much to get in :))))Best investment when i decided to buy this, long gone the days when i will need to scrape food off the driveway

I bought this caddy to store food waste before taking it to the compost heap. I wanted something small enough that it wouldn’t be too heavy or unwieldy when full, but bigger than the tiny bins for food waste that are sold to go on a kitchen worktop. This is just the right size and the lid shuts tightly, so the contents don’t smell or attract wildlife. I am very pleased with it and may buy another for dog poo bags.

This bin has restored my faith in design and purpose! The amount of recycling waste bins we've been through is ridiculous as they all either corrode or break, or are too big or too small. For us this bin looks sleek, is brilliantly designed and well constructed. It looks like it will be long-lasting, and there is no smell from our compostable waste for the first time ever! Really pleased with this purchase and would recommend giving it a try.
