good product
Arrived on time and in good condition. Very happy to have a blade replacement. Would have been nice to have a tool to fit the blade replacement screws.

Awesome product
I have been wanting to get one of these for a while now since I create different kinds of graphics that need bulk cutting. I saw this one and decided to give it a try. It work very well and I was really impressed on the cutting accuracy. “A word of caution” beware, the blade is very very sharp. Keep the blue blade guard on at all times. I removed the guard to remove cut scrapes of paper and the tip of my thumb from mid nail to the tip was just about cut off. So basically it was user error. Overall the cutter is awesome and will use it again.

Please wear cut-proof gloves.
This paper cutter works well for my needs. However, I am often cutting off small strips and end up putting my hand close to the blade to clear away the trimmings. I cut off my thumbnail that way and it was horrible. I now wear cut-proof gloves and all is well. The paper cutter comes with spare blade, which I really appreciate. I think it should be possible to sharpen the blades as well. I am not having any issue getting a clean cut on a range of materials. The only thing I do not like, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that the plastic paper guide is not straight. I am making super precise cuts and it is a paint to get it lined up perfectly and screwed in tight enough to stay put. I can do it if I set one end, tighten it part-way and then set the other end, but it seems like a deign flaw to me. The placement of the knob also means that you cannot cut a strip narrower than 55 mm. I am cutting 58 mm strips, so it just works.

Blade
It has been two weeks since I purchased this product. The blade already became blunt and leaves a huge mark on the books. I couldn’t find any contact information to solve this issue

Already broken less than a month and a half in
I've had this for a little over a month, and it is already cutting stacks of paper over 20 sheets at an angle. I cannot rely upon it to cut perpendicular lines at all. Today, the topmost edge of the cutter began mangling paper because the paper press is already broken, providing uneven pressure and not descending to make contact with the paper stack, making the machine unusable. This is one of the worst cutters I've ever purchased. Don't make the same mistake.

Good for the Price
I got this guillotine about 6 months ago and so far it works very well for what I use it for - cutting the edges of my text block for book binding.I would give this device a solid 3.75/5 ⭐Here is why:Pros:1. cuts quite easily through all my pages (have cut maybe 10 text blocks with it so far, and it is still as sharp as the first one I cut)2. Easy to use and has good safety features. I really like all 10 of my fingers and I'm not looking to give any of them up.3. Relatively compact for how strong the blade is.Cons:1. Cannot not trust the measurements on the base.2. The guide that holds your item in place for cutting wiggles a lot. It can be tightened, but if it moves before you tighten it, your cut will be slanted (ie, 5 inch cut at the top, 5.1 inches at the bottom) I try to make 1" cardboard guides where I put the blade down, use the cardboard guide at the top, secure the holder a little, then also use the guide at the bottom and tighten it more. I usually have to slide the cardboard up and down a few times to make sure it's even along the whole way and then I get a good cut. Orange cardboard in picture shows an example of my guide.2b. This is also super hard when I have a text block that is more than 400 pages and I have to cut the text block 2 separate times. It has never come out flush for me which is a bit irritating. I attached a picture of what I mean. But if it's one flush cut for the whole text block. It usually looks very nice. Attached another picture of that.3. The guide that holds the pages in place usually creates an indent in the top page. Usually you can just kind of bend it back out, but if you have something with delicate material on the top, it might not make it.All-in-all, this is a great machine for the price. When I purchased it, this was $190, now that I'm leaving this review it is $155. Which I think is a very reasonable price. My $190 cost, even though a bit higher than the current price, was still worth it. Though it would have been really nice if I got it for $155

Missing parts and instructions
I haven't used the product because you have to remove a piece on the item in order to use it and the tools that were suppose to be included are missing.
