Top quality, as is the rest of the cage. More than one shelf will easily fit per tier (depends on animals/size, mine are Degus). Good finish, easy to clean, plastic trays are tough (degus eat them but they chew anything, I have seen the same setup for rats and the ferret version, they are fine). All round great quality for the price.

All Critter Nation cage owners should make the small investment for these long lasting ramp covers, especially if they have small pets. We bought two sets so we can swap them when washing them. These help protect their delicate feet and paws and makes their climbing easier as they age too! Don’t waste your money on imitation ones, Midwest/Critter Nation can’t be beat!!

I was so happy when I found out they made replaceable stair covers. They last a few years but eventually the ones I got with the cage the Velcro started to wear. Good buy

I bought my cage second hand so finding the trays for it was impossible. I was so glad to find this where I didn't have to pay ridiculous shipping to get it to Canada. My young rat had a bad habit of trying to tear out the corners of all the fleece liners and then tearing up the corrugated pvc board I was using to cover the bars. She can't get through this liners thick plastic and it has made cleaning up thier scattered litter and food so much easier than having fleece along the bottom. Fits perfectly in my CritterNation cage!
