Extremely satisfying- spikey and squeezy!
The media could not be loaded. I love these hedgehog balls so much. They are spikey but ALSO squeezy, and the colors are so bright! They did have a strong off-gasing smell, but the texture is perfect. They are just firm enough that the spikes still give the pokey sensation, but they don't hurt and there's enough give for a very satisfying squeeze. I've been rolling one between my hands, plucking the spikes, squeezing and bouncing them against the desk ever since I got them. I did not expect to like them as much as I do. They make concentrating on work so much easier. I hope the oblong version, the hedgehog rollers, come back into stock. I'd really like to make the comparison.UPDATE: I bought the hedgehog rollers and they're great!! The spikes are shorter and a little firmer, which is a slightly different spikey experience. Still very comfortable! They fit in my hand better, so I can roll and squeeze more easily. Because they are smaller and oblong, the squeezy aspect is not as giving. I feel like both versions, while very similar, scratch my brain itch in different enough ways that they are both extremely satisfying. I am glad I have both types!

Toddler approved
My 18 month old is in a throwing stage, these are light and soft. Easy for her to throw without me worrying about her breaking things, but my dogs do think they are for them so if you have animals maybe buy two packs!

not quite what i’m looking for, sticky
got the egg shaped rollers. they come individually wrapped in plastic in a box. i was hoping they’d be a bit harder but these are soft and squishy. they also have a sticky feel to them which i’m not a fan of. the rubbery material feels like adhesive residue but it doesn’t transfer to your skin. i tried washing it and the stickiness persisted. i found that it slides around if your hands have lotion on them though so that’s how i use it or i pick at the spikes. overall it’s not what i was looking for but it still keeps my free hand busy while driving so i’ll keep it!

Perfect Stocking Stuffers!
I bought the 5 pcs set for Christmas stocking stuffers, and I may have used mine more than my kids used theirs! We left to visit family the next day, and I kept mine close at hand just to help me destress. I don't handle traveling very well, so having one close by was very helpful. Hooray for neurodivergent families!

Great for sensory stim... IF you're not too rough.
The media could not be loaded. For context, I am an adult (30s) with AuDHD, and one of my life-long stims has been mildly self-harming skin picking of my fingers. I have a few stim/fidget toys such as stress balls, poppers, and putty. However, I find the balls fragile and not tactile enough, the poppers too loud for quiet situations, and the putty too messy for portability. When I discovered these, I had a feeling they would benefit my stimming needs. They are small and portable enough to fit in my pocket. The egg shape feels really nice in my hands. They are more quiet than poppers. They are pliable/soft, but the texture of the spikes especially helped me not to skin pick. I underestimated how much I liked these. The first day I had them I basically stimmed all day just by rubbing my fingers along the spikes! I've included a video of its size, its squishiness, how the spikes sound, how I roll it in one hand when I'm fidgeting/stimming, and how they leave little (satisfying) dents in the skin if you squeeze them.Unfortunately, I noticed around the second or third day of having these that rubbing the spikes too hard results in them.. shedding? For lack of a better word. I've included pictures of the red ball, when I first got it, and three days later. In it you can see the spikes are less pointy, more like nubs, and the very ends look battered. And the white "dust" that you see between the spikes are plastic particles from rubbing them. Rinsing it in water gets the particles off, but the real issue is I've essentially been making micro-plastic dust by my aggressive stimming. Have I been inhaling it? Ingesting it? I don't know. I have been trying to stim more gently with the blue one, I've included pictures showing its use after one full day of rolling it in my hand as shown in my video, rather than rubbing the spikes. The caveat is it doesn't satisfy me as much as rubbing the spikes. In conclusion, the egg shape, the size, and the spikes all meet my sensory stimming needs. It's downfall is in the durability of the material. I don't recommend it to those who are hard on their stim/fidget toys. I know sometimes my stimming can't be easily controlled if I'm especially upset or excited. So even though I can try to be gentler with these going forward, I will also be looking for something better suited for handling my particular way of stimming.

Surprisingly Helpful
I was surprised with how much these helped my son. He has a lot of trouble in stores and these offered him a type of “pain stim” and kept him from getting overstimulated. They’ve proven to be pretty sturdy too. They’ve even held up to chewing from my younger son. They were a little smaller than I expected but seem to fit well in my kids hands.

Great fidget
I LOVE these spikey rollers! They are brightly colored, small enough to hold in your hand or pocket, and have a nice feel. The rollers are not a hard plastic like others I have seen but are slightly squishy and comfortable to hold or roll along your skin. I use these as fidgets for kids who want more sensory input or need to have something to keep their hands busy. I am very pleased with the product and ordered a second set!

Fun and bright colors
Love playing with these. Bought them as a sensory toy for my 6 month old, and he loves rolling it and chasing it down as he learns to crawl. My 7 year old loves how bouncy they are and fun colors. I love playing with it and rolling it in my hands as a fidget toy. They have a little squish to them, but mostly firm.
