Bought for baking cookies, saved a ton of money buying in bulk

The powder was puffing out of the package before I even opened it. Then the bag that the cream of tartar package was in was busted and the actual bag of cream of tartar was busted. Plus this item says it’s not returnable. Big waste of money.

I frequently make homemade playdough for my kiddos, and paying grocery store prices for cream of tartar was not worth it. This a great price for the size of the package. If came wrapped in plastic in the package which is great cause the paper packaging was a little dusty.

Bulk cream of tartar works great for drain & pipe cleaning when mixed with baking soda & salt. Chase with white vinegar. Wait for bubbling to cease. Flush several minutes with hot water. Repeat every 3-4 weeks. The cream of tartar is not cheap, but the cleansing routine is cheaper than a plumber bill to unclog drains.

ok. sorry for the icky pic. but here's a long story.almost 2 full yrs ago, I went to Missouri. I was walking around barefoot, and kicked up a stick which then stabbed the top of my foot. It hurt so bad, I seriously thought I broke a bone. It barelt bled, but my whole foot swelled and I couldn't walk on it. Then, this huge bump formed. When I got home, I went to the doctor and they did an xray (can't remember if I got an antibiotic or not). Nothing was broke but I had to wear a boot.Now fast forward 2 yrs. I STILL have this bump in my foot (size of a marble). I finally made an appointment with a dermatologist a couple months ago, and it is tomorrow. BUT. For about a week and a half, I've been taking cream of tarter (just to detoxify - no actual reason). And within a few days, I noticed I got a red blister looking bump on my big bump. I squeezed it and after working at it for a lonnggg time a tiny bit of puss came out - I realized the cream of tarter was pushing out whatever the bump is! THEN lastnight I got out of the shower and saw my foot was bleeding. I was trying to clean it up, and saw what I thought was loose skin. I started to pull it off and A HUGE SPLINTER CAME OUT. THIS PIECE OF WOOD HAS BEEN IN MY FOOT FOR 2 YRS!!! And the cream of tarter pushed it out!!! I'm amazed.I can't wait to tell the dermatologist tomorrow! I still have the big bump but holy smokes I'm shocked!!!
