Q: Are these hippy swirls?

Not quite hippy swirls. More like pearlized swirls, like when you see swirls in bottles of hand soap or shampoos.

Q: If i put a colored led inside a clear container will it light up?

As long as the LED is waterproof it should be fine and you should see some light reflected through.

Q: will this glob up and settle to the bottom ?

Thank you for your inquiry! Over time, yes, you'll notice the Pearl Swirl will clump up and settle at the bottom of the container if you aren't mixing it. But the clumps break up very easily and all you'll need to do is shake up the bottle or stir it to get it broken up and back to the original swirly-ness.
