Ello Wren Glass Water Bottle with One-Touch Flip Lid

I really enjoy this water bottle. The color is more blue than what it looks like online but still pretty in my opinion. Yes, water can get behind the silicone sleeve if you aren’t careful but if you know how to work with the sleeves it isn’t a big deal. It’s the same thing that happens with them all. On this bottle, I like that the part of the straw you drink from is soft silicone. I really don’t find it heavy. Yes, it’s glass so it is heavier than plastic. If you want a glass water bottle that is protected and has a slightly larger capacity, this is a solid choice.

So far so good! The bottle is true to description....really cute! After I purchased the bottle I read over the reviews (a little backward, I know). I was worried about the "plastic straw" some reviewers mentioned and the locking mechanism; however, I am pleased with both. Silicone mouthpiece; plastic interior straw. The locking mechanism IS a bit tricky...you really have to make sure it's latched or it will pop open (the button has a hair trigger!) but once it's actually locked, it won't open. (I do that by simply pushing the button after I set the lock to make sure it's set.) Happy with the purchase! Would buy it again or as a gift!

My daughter purchased this with birthday money because she's been wanting a glass water bottle since I have one. She saw this one on amazon with the straw, and fell in love.Pros:- It's very pretty.- The straw is easy to clean so far. She does just use it for water though, so I'm not sure how easy it would be if you put something other than water in it.- The lock feature on the lid is nice since she has a little brother she doesn't want drinking her water.- It's easy enough to hit the button to pop it open that she can do it at age 8.- The price was incredibly reasonable.Cons:- Washing it always seems to leave a little water between the bottle and the silicone sleeve. I leave the silicone sleeve on anyways because it's nearly impossible to get back on if it's taken off.- The first one came and it was broken - the latch on the lid wouldn't close, so it just stayed open. (Amazon was great and the exchange process was easy, thankfully.) This does concern me as far as longevity goes though, and it's why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5.

Obviously, being glass this bottle is much heavier in comparison to the plastic reusable bottles. I like the pattern, but with the silicone cover, it's actually hard to tell how full/empty the bottle is. You can remove the cover, but then you're left with a weird glass bottle with a sloppy pattern inside of it.I have purchased many of this brands similar plastic bottles, and this one has the same problem with the lid. After a few months of use the lid does not stay latched (unless you have it locked) which can be irritating.But it is super easy to clean, never smells weird like some plastic bottles do, and I love the straw. I will just keep buying the Ello plastic ones.

First off I love the cup , our family likes this cup but after 1 hour my daughter dropped the cup on the ground and the lid broke .. I’m very curious if you can buy replacement lids for this bottle ? will purchase if so .

It was really tough to find a glass water bottle with a straw so I was excited about the ello bottle. The design is pretty and for the first week or so it was great for taking anywhere. However, the lock broke after maybe a week and now the top won’t stay closed at all. Wasn’t great when I discovered the straw leaking water all over my purse.

I LOVED the first bottle. No lid locking issues. No leak issues. No silicone over sizing. So, when I dropped it (it hit concrete from 4 feet up in the air and hit the lid-no glass broke!) I ordered a replacement! The second bottle has lid locking issues, leaking issues and silicone over sizing issues (which makes it hard to take the lid on and off). I cannot hold this bottle by the grip on the lid. The lock does not work. I am shocked at the difference in quality between the 2 exact same bottles, purchased at separate times.

This might be the perfect water bottle. The wide base and cover make it totally sturdy (no worry it will tip over), and the bottle and straw make it super easy to use and drink out of one-handed. Bonus, it's super cute in both colors! Just bought a third one.
