Great product

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter as her phone "broke" somehow........ I was at the gym dad, listening to music then I looked down and the screen was broken! I don't know how it happened! The phone was an old Samsung J6+ so it was due a change , it was getting a bit glitchy and as the price of a new screen was at least 50 quid I thought why not get a new one. I was not going to be spending hundreds of pounds on an S22/23/24 or iPhone etc so I gave her a few options that all had similar specs and she picked this one. So far she is very impressed with it. it will not be able to keep up with the top of the range models, running on brand new processors etc, but for her, and the average user, it is spot on. Battery lasts all day most days, camera seems pretty decent for a mid level phone, functionality is pretty good and as quick as expected. Nothing bad to report with the phone itself at the moment. FYI--- It does not come with a charger just a USB-C to USB-C cable so please keep that in mind as you will not be able to use a standard charger it will have to be a USB-C connection. These are only about 5-10 quid so nothing major. Overall I would definitely recommend one of these if you are looking to spend about 120-150 on a mid level Samsung phone. I have a S22 and this A14 can keep up with it on most aspects and even beats it on the battery life. I was tempted to swap my S22 with her A14 as the s22 is starting to annoy me. The only reason why I didn't is the size on the A14, it is pretty big at 6.5". Doesn't fit in my pocket very comfortably if I am being honest. if that is not an issue for you and you love huge phones at quite a low cost I would recommend one on these. if you want similar "real world" specs but want to spend another 200 quid get an S22, but I would not recommend one of those........ My partner also has a J6+ that she is keeping alive, but I think I might replace that with an A14 when it does finally die off........

I picked up the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G for around £100, and it's been a pleasant surprise. The 6.6-inch display is bright and clear, making it great for media consumption. The 50MP main camera takes decent photos, and the 5000mAh battery easily lasts all day. The phone runs smoothly on the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset with 4GB of RAM, handling everyday tasks without issues. While the plastic build doesn't feel premium, it's solid and durable. The phone lacks some advanced features like a higher refresh rate and water resistance, but for the price, it's a fantastic deal. A reliable budget choice!

I need a phone that's capable of running apps quickly and efficiently; that has the storage capacity for multiple apps and data; that's reliable and can run swiftly; that has a quality visual display system for youtube, etc; a phone that's easily managed and doesn't deluge me with unnecessary complexity and features; that's stable and reliable; that has a decent battery life, and most importantly of all a phone that doesn't fall over, fail or run out of juice at crucial moments. This phone meets all of my requirements. If you're looking for an exceptional, professional camera, or high definition stereo speakers, or a sophisticated gaming device then this phone probably isn't for you. If, like me, and I suspect most of us, you need a phone to meet practical, day to day purposes, then this is a good, reliable product for the price. Just a couple of caveats however. Firstly this phone comes with a 'usb c to usb c' cable, and a compatible charging plug is not supplied, which is frustrating. Secondly, I would recommend a phone cover The build quality of this phone is good, but it's not going to survive hard impacts. So overall a good, practical product for the price, and highly recommended.

If your looking for the best budget phone that does what you need, you have come to the right place! This phone is very cheap considering the prices of other phones, It has a 60hz display that doesn't look awful, contains most features any other more expensive samsung phone would have, has a decent battery life (can last a day or 2 depending on how power intensive the apps you use are) and a decent camera with stabilisation for this price range (the camera is decent enough that I use it to record my youtube videos and they come out fairly good). The only drawbacks with this phone which may be bad depending on what you need the phone to do is that there is no NFC (contactless) on the phone meaning you can't pay contactless or use wireless charging and the fact that the phone DOES NOT come with a charging adapter but rather only a charging cable with USB-C at either end meaning you may need to buy a USB-C adapter separately or use a different cable with USB at one end and USB-C at the other end connected to a USB adapter just to plug it in to the wall. Other than that the phone has worked wonders for me! I Would certainly rate it one of the best budget phones out there currently! It is so good that I wrote this review using this phone.

I did get this while it was on sale for about £115. Has worked perfectly wjth no issues. Fast phone. The keyboadd i have issues with but ive been using phones like moterola since using a phone so i think thats more the muscle memory i have of the keys is slightly off on the bigger screen. Something cool is that if you rotate to landscape mote then the keyboard actually splits up into 2 parts making it easier to type like that. Battery life is pretty good even this long after. Overall amazing product for the price i paid.

Per la nonna, lo zio anziano o quell’amico che ha avuto sempre e solo Samsung ma non vuole spendere soldi. Questo Samsung Galaxy A14 è il più economico tra i nuovi smartphone della casa coreana, anche se poi però lo prendi in mano, ci cominci a smanettare e vedi che vale molto di più dei pochi soldi spesi: bel display, fotocamera principale da 50 Megapixel e batteria gigantesca. Insomma un prodotto economico ma che non va sottovalutato. CONFEZIONE e CONTENUTO Come mal ci hanno abituato ultimamente, in confezione non c’è più il caricabatteria. Posso capire che non lo mettano più sui top di gamma ma in questa fascia di mercato a volte chi acquista questi prodotti ha bisogno anche del caricabatteria. Nella scatola troviamo: - Il Samsung Galaxy A14; - Un cavo USB –C; - Un estrattore per SIM; - La guida rapida. DESIGN e MATERIALI Realizzato in plastica, il Samsung Galaxy A14 è un cellulare al passo con i tempi perché ha la cornice piuttosto squadrata e i bordi tondeggianti per arrivare a gestire tutto il display con una mano. È grosso ed anche un po’ pesantuccio ma ha un bel display grande ideale per le persone un pochino più datate. IL DISPLAY È un LCD PLS da 6.6 pollici con risoluzione di 1080x2408 pixel. Buoni i colori e la luminosità generale per un utilizzo quotidiano senza problemi anche sotto la luce del sole. PROCESSORE e MEMORIA Ho preso la versione 4/64GB perché a mio zio serviva soprattutto per vedere le telecamere che ha messo in campagna, ma per i più esigenti c’è anche la versione con 128GB, oltre alla possibilità di espandere la memoria fino a 1T. Il processore è un MediaTek Helio G80 molto conosciuto sui telefoni base gamma. Va benissimo, non ha impuntamenti e soprattutto non scalda praticamente mai oltre che consumare poca batteria. Nell’utilizzo quotidiano è perfetto, anche per vedere i vari social come Facebook o YouTube. BATTERIA È una 5000 mAh che permette un utilizzo per due giorni senza il bisogno di ricaricarlo. SOFTWARE A mio avviso Samsung deve lavorare tanto sull’estetica dell’interfaccia del sul suo sistema operativo perché è davvero datata e lontana dal concetto Android attuale. La ONE UI 5.1 è basata su Android 13 con le patch di sicurezza aggiornate a Giugno 2023. Se graficamente non mi piace devo dire che non ha bug, impuntamenti o chiusure accidentali di app., la stabilità è massima e si percepisce ad ogni utilizzo. Le applicazioni di Samsung preinstallate sul telefono sono tante e oltre a quelle che ho messo subito in una cartella da parte perché non si possono cancellare, ce ne sono altre abbastanza utili. REPARTO TELEFONICO È un telefono Dual-SIM, con Nano SIM. Il telefono in chiamata si sente molto bene, cristallino e senza interferenze; il volume è molto buono e anche dall’altro lato hanno detto di sentirmi sempre molto bene e senza problemi o disturbi. Il Dealer per le chiamate è di Samsung, ma può essere cambiato con quello di Google senza problemi. Purtroppo non si può registrare la chiamata ma segnala le possibili chiamate SPAM e le blocca. FOTO e VIDEO Fotocamera eccezionale per la fascia di prezzo in cui è inserito. Le camere posteriori sono tre, due inutili, mentre la principale da 50Mpx è davvero molto bella e scatta delle foto luminosi, ricche di particolari e dai colori molto belli e vivaci. Registra video in Full HD a 30fps davvero belli, anche se non quanto le foto. La fotocamera principale è da 13Mpx, perfetta per le videochiamate o per scattare qualche selfie. AUDIO L’audio è mono, esce solo dalla cassa posta sulla parte bassa del dispositivo. È molto potente e piacevole per vedere un video su YouTube o ascoltare la musica. CONCLUSIONI Cosa si poteva chiedere di più ad un cellulare che costa poco meno di 130€? Io penso nulla. È equilibrato e piacevole nell’utilizzo di tutti i giorni. A mio avviso è pensato per un pubblico senza pretese che vuole spendere il meno possibile per uno smartphone, a cui importa solo poter chiamare senza problemi. In realtà dopo averlo provato vi posso dire che funziona alla grande in tutti gli ambiti, dalla semplice videochiamata su WhatsApp, alla consultazione dei social senza ignorare l’ottima qualità della fotocamera e la batteria che ha due giorni di autonomia, insomma è per i meno esigenti ma andrebbe bene anche per un primo approccio al mondo degli smartphone (sto pensando a bambini che ci installeranno di certo un modo di giochi), Niks

Wir haben 3x Samsung A14 gekauft, 3x über Amazon. Trotzdem ist dur Ware nicht identisch. Es ist für den Endverbraucher oft extrem undurchsichtig, da beide Geräte äußerlich identisch aussehen und auch beide unter dem Verkaufsnamen „Galaxy A14“ geführt werden, doch das Innenleben unterscheidet sich bei den beiden Exemplaren maßgeblich. Die Auflösung finden wir direkt in den kryptischen Zeichenfolgen der Modellnummern, denn Samsung produziert Smartphones nicht als ein einziges, globales Einheitsmodell, sondern fertigt für verschiedene Weltregionen unterschiedliche Hardware-Revisionen an, um spezifische Marktbedürfnisse und Preisstrukturen abzubilden. Wenn wir uns das Gerät meines Sohnes mit der Kennung SM-A145R/DSN genauer ansehen, so verrät uns dieser Code exakt, was verbaut ist. Der Buchstabe „R“ weist in der Samsung-Nomenklatur in der Regel auf ein Gerät hin, das für den europäischen Markt spezifiziert wurde, und das ist in diesem Fall entscheidend, da in Europa kontaktloses Bezahlen ein Standard ist. Dass ich beide Geräte hier gekauft habe, ist dabei kein Widerspruch, denn im Online-Handel kommt es sehr häufig vor, dass sogenannte EU-Waren oder internationale Versionen importiert und verkauft werden, da diese im Einkauf oft günstiger sind als die reine deutsche Handelsware. Das Betriebssystem, in Ihrem Fall das aktuelle Android 15, verhält sich dabei absolut korrekt: Beim Startvorgang fragt die Software die vorhandene Hardware ab, und da das Gerät meiner Tochter keine Rückmeldung von einem NFC-Chip erhält, weil dieser physisch nicht existiert, wird der Menüpunkt „NFC und kontaktlose Zahlungen“ in den Einstellungen komplett ausgeblendet, um Fehlermeldungen zu vermeiden. Es handelt sich also bedauerlicherweise weder um einen Defekt noch um ein Softwareproblem, das durch ein Update behoben werden könnte, sondern um eine unabänderliche Hardware-Tatsache, weshalb das Gerät meiner Tochter für Dienste wie Google Wallet leider dauerhaft nicht geeignet ist.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! Le Samsung A14 m’a vraiment surpris par ses performances. L’écran est lumineux et agréable pour regarder des vidéos, la batterie tient toute la journée même avec une utilisation intensive, et le téléphone est fluide pour naviguer et jouer. Le design est moderne et tient bien en main. Pour un smartphone dans cette gamme de prix, c’est un excellent choix. Je recommande sans hésiter !
