This stuff is amazing. If you are considering, just buy it! I have never had strong nails, they've always been bendy and I could never get nail polish to stay on, even with builder. For the first time in my life I have nails to be proud of and can get manicures! I really bought it for my nails but there's been a visible difference in my skin - multiple people have asked what I am doing differently. Two people separately said I was suddenly looking ten years younger (I'm mid 40s). So that is VERY nice!! My hair is also looking amazing and I've had a reduction in joint pain. All while being totally vegan! Can't fault it at all. Does take a couple of bottles to see the effects but it's definitely worth the wait.

As we grow older we produce far less collagen than our bodies need, a supplement like this could be the way to go. Collagen is available in various forms, but primarily comes from fish or bovine. As this particular product is a vegan form of Collagen it is made up of 50mg of hyaluronic acid, along with 18 important amino acids per capsule to help your body to produce more Collagen. I was pleased to see that magnesium stearate is not included in this as that's an ingredient I try to avoid. Some of the claimed benefits of taking Collagen are: 1. Builds bone strength 2. Since this is a vegan collagen supplement there isn't any actual collagen present. This is essentially an amino acid blend encapsulated with Hyaluronic acid for hydration. The idea behind vegan "collagen" is that collagen is meant to be made up of various amino acids so the theory is deconstructing the animal derived collagen and creating a blend of similar actives with the hope of performing the same function. However, it's important to note that an amino acid supplement will perform differently to taking direct collagen. Collagen contains amino acids but a selection of amino acids doesn't mimic the function of collagen 1:1 but there are benefits. Some benefits of taking an amino acid supplement is skin/hair/nails support, can help with digestion and help boost energy. One thing I really like about these supplements is that I can't see any fillers or bulking agents in the formula. I try to steer away from supplements that have added ingredients that don't provide a benefit to my body. The supplement is great for those following a vegan or vegetarian diet and not wanting any animal derived supplements. The capsules are easy to swallow too. These aren't bad supplements at all but if you're looking into boosting collagen for your skin then this one misses the mark a bit.
