Calming
Anyone searching for a mild moisturizer that doesn’t upset your skin , and calms inflamed skin I think this would be a good option . I think it’s a little on the pricey side but it does have some nice ingredients like niacinamide . I think this would be great for sensitive skin, acne prone skin and obviously anyone with dermatitis . It has no scent and the texture is gel-like so it feels refreshing on the skin .

Calms itching and significantly reduces flaking
Although this is meant as a face moisturizer, I actually bought it for my scalp where I experience the most flaking and itching. My hair is kinky/curly and extremely dense so the scalp doesn’t get to breathe well which aggravates the itchiness and flaking. Before using this product I generally would start itching by the 3rd day and would have to wash by the 5th or 6th day. For anyone with natural hair who spends hours twisting after washing having to do this twice a week is extremely time consuming. I was able to stretch my wash day to 10 days using this moisturizer. I’ve tried every oil there is and they ALWAYS cause buildup. I had no idea that the oils were potentially aggravating my dry scalp as well. I have almost no build up with dermazen and while my scalp does still get slightly itchy by day 6/7 that’s a huge improvement. Just having the option to delay my wash day by a few days is a huge time savings. Not to mention a clean happy scalp. Thanks Dermazen!

Great moisturizer
I really enjoy using the Derma Zen moisturizer. It’s good at preventing/ managing flare ups and is light weight. While I do prefer a light weight moisturizer in the summer, I usually have to layer something on top for winter. I do wish they had a thicker option. Overall, great product.

Sticky, but does seem to improve my skin
I use this every other night for over a month now. It does seem to improve the clearness and smoothness of my skin. I am deducting a star because it is very sticky, though. It smells kind of bad, but I can tolerate that, as the smell seems to disappear once it's dry.

Kind of sticky/Not sure if it works
I think my hopes were too high for this product. I have paired it with a zinc bar, which is supposed to be good for SD. The feel of this moisturizer is almost like one of those thin, plastic-y masks you put on your face and peel off. For me, it seems like it takes a lot of time to dry. I also think it dries out my skin, especially around my nasal folds. I am noticing a lot of flaking there. I have been using this daily for about three weeks and I've had to start adding another moisturizer on top, about 30 minutes after I put on this one. That makes getting ready take a bit longer. It's not terrible, but it's not great.

Try Dermazen before you waste more money!
Unfortunately for me, I wasted a lot of money on a lot of products that were not Dermazen. This is one of the only products I buy repeatedly. I will say if my skin is near the beginning of a flair up this product stings/tingles a bit but it goes away quickly and I follow it up with a thick layer of a-phor ointment to help keep my skin moisturized. I have dry skin anyway, a flair up further adds to dryness and the Dermazen while super helpful is also drying on my particular skin. I use this on my face, neck, and around my ears and honestly is works like magic. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I waited due to cost and spent way more on products that gave me zero or minimal results. I now use this and the serum and couldn’t be happier with their performance.

So far, so good...
Skin varies dramatically from person to person, so what works for my seborrheic dermatitis may well not work for you. That said, I've tried coal tar, salicylic acid, ketoconazole, and various other mainstream products on my face and scalp to try and keep this under control with very mixed results. I'm about 2 weeks in, and this is the best I've used so far. Yes, the texture is not what you're used to for most face moisturizers, but if you're reading this you likely don't have "normal" skin and normal moisturizers like don't work well for you. One application in the AM (or PM) after a shower, and my skin isn't thirsty or dried out 30 minutes later like it is with virtually all other moisturizers. And the red, scaly areas that invariably start appearing do not come back after a few hours like they would before. It's expensive, but if it continues to work well for me I'll continue to purchase. I'm also using the cleanser in the shower just before drying off, so perhaps it's the combination that's so effective. Before this the best I'd found was an oil-based cleanser that's now discontinued, and I chose this out of necessity. If you're running out of options give it a try.

Game Changing HG product
Long story short, Dermazen products have changed my skin for the better. About three years ago I started having dry sore peeling skin around my mouth chin and nose. No matter what I did to treat it, including expensive medications from the dermatologist, it would only improve a little just to come back worse than before. I couldn’t cover it with makeup, it really started affecting my self-esteem.Then I found Dermazen during a random search desperately looking for something new to try. I used their serum and lotion daily and within two weeks my skin was clear. I have been using it faithfully since and have not had another flare. The sizes of the products are generous, and don’t irritate or sting. My only suggestion is to use the lotion at night, or without makeup. It can pill up when layering products or sunscreen on top.Just buy it. It works.
