Worked right out of the box.
I have two old (2007!) desktops and felt it was time to update. I only need a small home office machine so this NUC13 Pro looked like a good choice. I have watched a number of YouTube videos on these new 'mini" computers and the Intel products have been well reviewed. After the big desktops I appreciate the small size. In fact I have this one attached to the back of my monitor using the supplied VESA mount adapter. The unit booted up and ran perfectly. There were a few normal software updates and they installed with no problems. I use the computer with a KVM switch so I can use the old computers while I update the new one and transfer files and apps. I am not a gamer so I can't comment on that aspect of performance. However for office use the NUC 13 is great Very fast loading and performing. I have several large Excel workbooks and they load and run much faster than on the old computers. The built in internet port connected first time. Windows 11 Pro is a bit different than Win 10 but I am getting used to it. I am very happy with the NUC13 Pro. The price to performance ratio and expandability are excellent. The case is metal and strong. The computer attaches to the VESA adapter via slide on lugs. They hold the unit firmly in place but it can be slid off easily for cable attachment or other access. The small size is a help in a small office or desk setup. I added an extra disk drive. The instructions and guide made the install easy. I also like the low power consumption and low temperature of the unit and especially like the very very low noise. This is important to me because I have a small office. In summary I am very happy with the computer and would recommend it highly for home/small office use.

Needed a Power PC for Video Production
I have been editing and producing some video content for my wife's business on my little Lenovo laptop. Sadly, I quickly found that little laptop simply won't handle that volume of data. As is my usual method of self-education, I consulted the many users on YouTube as to their recommendations. It was clear: killer processor, heavy duty graphics, lots of RAM, a huge, fast SSD, and just to make enough space, throw in a huge 4T HDD. The NUC13ANHi7 appeared to check most of those boxes. I also preferred something fairly portable, but not another laptop. The little NUC is like this little 4x4x2 brick stuffed with everything I needed. It didn't come with the HDD, but it has a slot for it (amazingly enough... this thing is compact!) Installing the additional drive was very easy. I travel between my house and shop (about 40mi away) fairly regularly. So on both ends, I bought a nice monitor, KB, and mouse that just stay put at their respective locations. I just shut down the NUC and slip into my laptop backpack and take it along. I even purchased a second NUC power supply so I don't even have to transport that. As for performance, holy smokes! This thing is new, clean, and fast! I'm going to avoid putting a bunch of crap software on it and focus on using it solely for video and graphics production. It works way faster handling my video clips, editing software, and graphics than the poor little over-worked Lenovo ever did. I used to get so frustrated! Now video editing is fast, smooth, and fun! Nothing like having the right tool for the job. I'm sure there are other PC power houses out there, but this little block of data crunching chips is probably the best PC I've ever owned.

Intel NUC
I've maxed the ram and added drives, nice little device. I like also that it comes with a mount that allows you to mount the device to the back of a monitor using the vesa "holes". So if you had a monitor that uses built in stand then you can use this bracket to mount the device to the back of the monitor. I'm running linux Kubuntu without issue. I likely will buy another and put windows 11 on it as a test mule. Great tool for email, web stuff and general things, in my experience it does not run hot and does not make noise that bothers or concerns me.

Great computer for my needs
Perfect small computer. Bit expensive, but everything I was expecting from Intel and Geekplus. I sent an email to Geekplus asking what components they installed, trying to justify the price difference between them and others on Amazon. Geekplus support responded by the next day with the manufacturer and specs on the NVme drive and memory they install as a reseller. The NUC is quiet and efficient. Geekplus tech support was excellent in answering all my questions prior to purchase. The bios and drivers are found on the Intel website and Intel's Driver and Support Assistant recognized my NUC and installed all the updates. Windows 11 Pro was ready to install and installation was a non-event. Two weeks in and I could not be happier with the purchase and Geekplus was great.

Small, Quiet, Powerful
I need a small PC that I could run VMware on and have multiple Operating systems running at the same time. I didnt want a larger tower or something with loud fans. I also needed it to be able to run multiple monitors at 4k. This NUC works perfectly for that. I had ZERO trouble setting the device up on first boot, connecting to my network and running all my software with plenty of resources available for other OS's.

Great Product, good customer service.
This is my second NUC computer. The hardware is excellent, all around. I did have an issue with windows 11 at first. I don't know the root cause, but I don't think it's this seller's fault. Even so, this seller stepped up and has been very responsive. I appreciate that. These are great little machines. Simple and cost effective, they use very little power for what they do.

Using these NUCs for lab
I am using the NUC for home lab. It suits the purpose and I have not had any issue running VMWare on these systems after some minor BIOS setting tweaks. I would have preferred two things: 1) More than one NIC. Having one NIC on this device really hinders what you can do with network experimentation and virtualization. 2) The latest processor without the economy cores; give the same number of cores but make them all performance cores. Those are niche gripes and if you want a machine to just run windows or Linux, this will more than suit your needs. However, if you are experimenting with virtualization in a lab environment, more than one NIC onboard and a 100% performance cored processor would be a much better option. Tip: Update to the latest BIOS for your model of NUC from the Intel website before you install anything. These shipped to me with very old BIOS versions and I had to update the BIOS before I could actually use the NUC reliably.
