Long story short - I accidentally bought Elite Screens' "Cinegray" screen, thinking I'd bought a "regular" white screen. A 15% restocking fee later (>$100) and then I purchased this screen. It sat boxed in my basement for over a year while we remodeled & delayed the theater, but finally I recently had a chance to get around to it. AUHD? I didn't even know what it meant when I looked at the box. Acoustic Ultra High Def? Oh no. I bought the wrong one again?! Kind of. I did not intend to buy an Acoustic screen. I simply wanted a 120" screen with small bezels. I used to own the more popular screen of the same size (120") and the giant bezels really never sat well with me. Anyway, learning about the acoustic screen I owned, I changed some of my design ideas and decided to put the speakers behind the screen. In the end, I'm completely satisfied with this happy accident. The screen... Assembly took me about 90 minutes by myself. The instructions were clear, and I never had to redo a step from overlooking something. The most tedious part is installing some hooks that hold a piece of black fabric in place - I never quite understood the purpose of the black fabric (installed behind the projector screen, attached to the back of the bezel), but it's in there. I did rip a piece of the velcro but that simply taught me to be more careful along the way. In the end, it came out almost flawless. I absolutely love it. High priced but it looks fantastic and the hidden front speakers are a really neat party trick. I would buy this again.

I had to go with a AUHD screen since my speakers are in the front wall. I am bit disappointed with the quality of this product. The manual was not very helpful. Some parts did not fit (the middle bar and fiber glass rods), holes did not match and missing screw (1 screw). Also, beware of the corners while pulling the fabric to attach to the velcro. I ripped mine in two places where fabric meets the seem of the velcro. Its seems Elite screens tried to make this model easier to install but totally missed testing and quality control. Note, there is a good amount pulling and stretching of the screen material required to get a tight fit. The middle bar that suppose to fit between the top and bottom bar does to fit. It's not even the same size. There are no holes for the screw to go in the top and bottom bar to attach the middle bar. Also, the fiber glass sticks suppose to go from one corner to other as per the manual, does not even fit in the corner or any holes in the corner to attach. Besides all that, there are some pros about this product. Pros - Image quality in room light condition - This is a white screen. In the room light condition (all lights on in the room) the image quality is washed out but acceptable. Image quality in ambient light condition - If I deem the lights to half, the quality improves a lot. Image quality in dark room is as expected. AUHD (Audion transparent materiel) - No issue there. Sounds great. Cons - Missing and miss-configured product. Poor quality materiel. Poor workmanship. Elite should spend good amount of time to write dummy proof installation manuals, video's Testing and Quality control would be a great idea. Final Opinion - You get what you pay for. I will not buy again from Elite in future.

My review is only for the 120" screen, this was my first screen and I'm not that well equipped to talk about the picture quality and other details and plenty of reviews are available online, I would like to just talk about one caveat with the screen as this is an acoustically transparent screen and its applies to only screen sizes 120" and below. This screen comes with only one central support bar unlike the screen sizes above this and if you are planning to setup center channel behind the screen it may come in the way, it is almost half an inch thick rod and in my setup it was impacting the sound quality and I had to buy another support bar at my expense to move the center support bar out of the way to achieve somewhat similar setup as the bigger size screen. Also, it took a while to get a response from Elite screen support team but it was easy process once you get somebody to talk to. I'm enjoying my viewing time so far but I would recommend to access your setup plan if are considering buying the screen. The Elite screen website has lot of resources and I should have researched online before ordering the screen.

I ordered the 120" AUHD. Fantastic. I couldn't disagree more with anyone who complained about the installation. I am by no means a skilled "handyman," but installation was pretty simple and straightforward. Highly recommend.
