Poor CPU/GPU performance, Slow 4GB Ram freq, terrible camera, good multitask operating system, runs most of usual androids app
I received the phone today after my son liked its look and Darkfader's mode. I preferred to purchase this although more expensive (£159) than getting it from Hong Kong which is cheaper (£120 - 135) but takes 1 month to deliver to the UK hence I didn't want to risk it.The Device is manufactured in China with Android 7 octacore. I've checked its memory and RAM and they are as mentioned (64 and 4GB respectively)It is a big phone, personally I didn't like it but my son fell in love with it. I compared it to its peer (Blackview BV7000 Pro) and the latter seems to have better specifications but a bit more expensive and heavier. My son didn't like the Blackview design unlike me.Ok, on checking the phone (please note this view is only for the first day use):I got the black one, well made, looking tough but not luxurious (nice rear view but flat very ordinary front, Homtom Z6 is faraway nicer in design!)Battery came fully charged and is good enough to hold its big screen, it fades away steadily (good) unlike some other Chinese models in which the battery power fades away quickly after 50%. Z8 Battery is nearly similar to that of Samsung S7 edge which we have in the house and better than my iphone 6; however, not that strong battery as described by some viewers elsewhere on the web.User manual: very poor instructions, not a big deal as you can know how to use its ports from online reviews)Performance wise: good speed and multi tasking, good finger touch, good sensors, good accurate screen touch and handling.Gaming: poor gaming performance (tested against IPhone6 CSR car racing 2) as the latter performs faraway better (sorry for this unfair comparison) as the game frame was interrupted on this device with poor glare effect. Update: gaming improves when the battery charge is higher than 70%Cameras: relatively poor quality but of high resolution and good video captureSound: speakers sound is clear but with a terribly bad drum/bass on loud volume; however, good phone call volume (fair enough)Wifi: stronger than Samsun 7edge and iphone 6 signal.Box: came with a charger and an additional screen protector (charger is of two round pins), together with a USB cable connector for memory stick.Worked with BT simcardGenerally, I am happy for my son to have this phone compared to his previous poor devices as this one provides him with all the android tasks he needs with an easy phone handling apart from its poor battery life ans camera (updated) It's a genuine product from a genuine vendor, good for its price but I expected a better performance. Will update soon when more tested over the next few days, as my main concern is its battery life. Conclusion: deserves five stars for £110Update 05/02/2018: The main camera is of terrible quality, the front camera is better.Google map test: okBattery life: fades in 8 hours after full use of simple low quality games.11/2/18: the camera is aweful :(5/3/18: good battery life and phone never had any problem.

Tough ,waterproof but not cumbersome.
Runs like dream ,quite fast compared to other phones I've had in this price range, and as a scuba diving instructor its ability to use while on a boat is very handy.Got some great pics with camera ,video and stills, includes massive hard drive,All n all very satisfied and would definitely recommend.
