The product is great. I caught a fish last night, but I ordered the Bruised Ego (Blue). They sent the wrong color today. Look at the picture.

The item seems well put together (haven't had a chance to fish it yet)... It arrived on time.

Spring is right around the corner! Usually around this time of year I load up on fishing stuff so when the kayak is ready, the tackle box is ready. I primarily fresh water fish for bass, pike, pickerel, catfish....pretty much anything that has a nice fight to it! I was never really interested in jigs until I started using them. The weedless features allow you to throw them in very heavy cover. I usually throw in lily pads, shore lines with limbs and stump and also grassy areas. i had the privilege to take these out last weekend on my new kayak. These are very well made jigs! I got them at a fraction of the cost compared to competitor and big brand names. I actually got three of them, but different colors.For this particular blue one, melon head/green/reed flake, is one of my go to colors. Anything "watermelon" usually does very well. I use the watermelon with red flakes for Senkos, tubes and lizards. If there are bass in the area, they will strike it, if they're hungry. If there's no fish in the area, it doesn't matter what you throw because nothing is going to bite it! It swims good, has a fantastic appearance and looks quite stunning with a craw trailer on it. It worked for me and it can work for you. I got three different colors because I liked them so much. This is a nice Heavy Mat Jig. It would be good to fish in weeds, i think it would get threw the weed guards great without getting hung up and stuck on any of the weeds.The hook is a nice size heavy hook. It is made good and appears to be very strong and aligned perfect. It is good and wide and really sharp sure to snag the big one.The skirt is good and lively. Seems to be put together well and has a nice color to it.This Jig would be the perfect bass slayer and i can't wait to actually get it in the water which will be here in about three weeks when i go on a fishing trip with my dad.
