Small Knife - This is not good or bad.
This knife is much smaller than I expected. This is not a good or bad thing, realistically. For someone who is not used to Every Day Carrying (EDC) a knife of size, or a knife at all, this would likely help get a feel for it without having to worry about discomfort. It's size helps as EDC, and makes it great if you're looking to have redundancy. The "action" , if you will, is great right out of the box. There was no need for oiling or anything. Flips open cleanly and without a fuss. Closing the blade can be a bit tricky, as the liner-lock is part of the handle-frame and the knife is, again, small. The price point was fair, but I feel that the "full size" S&W Folders offer more value for money, as they are trivially more expensive than this particular model at the time of purchase. ($10)I purchased this as a gift for someone, so I'm not sure I will be able to provide a follow-up review after time passes, but I can say that the S&W beater I EDC (SWA15) has held up very well blade-wise and the G10 handles are nice.

Pretty nice, but a couple problems.
It feels good in the hand, comes well polished and reasonably well adjusted to reasonable tension (blade, lock and belt clip). It is even slimmer than similar metal handled knives I have. After returning a very flimsy "Rough Rider" rebranded no-name cheap junk Chinese special, this seems amazingly well designed, built, and polished. It's still a little cheap, but quite a nice knife all-around. Just about the very minimum possible size to really be useful. However, they made at least two big mistakes:1. The thumb stud on the belt clip side WILL ALWAYS snag on your pocket, keeping you from sliding it all the way. There's no reason to have the stud there, as you can't reverse the belt clip, so lefties are still left-out.2. The screws on the belt clip are so LARGE that you can't slide past them, as this belt clip design is supposed to. That's the whole reason I bought this one rather than the CK400... Hanging lower in your pocket is MUCH more comfortable for EDC.I'm conflicted on the tanto point. I've had them before and HATE having to do twice the sharpening work, not being able to get the tip into small spaces, and not having a nice smooth curve to cut with. However, I can clearly see how much tougher the point is, if you're going to use it for heavy-duty prying, as you might with a utility knife.

pocket small, but light and SHARP
I cannot possess firearms due to silly silly PA vs Federal medical cannabis laws, so I went with my next best solution other than fireworks (jk). But this knife is something I didn't realize I have been missing my entire lifeLets get right to it:Weight: light as a feather, my scale calibrated up to 200g reads in at 6.3039 grams = 0.00220462 lbsEase of use: Extremely easy, just get used to using some force to slide the guard back into "close mode" position so the blade can come back down. This becomes second hand nature the more you practice / use the knife.Safety: I have been locked myself out many times for split second, it is well locked haha, but opens in a less than a second with practice and some finger muscle memory.Blade: insanely sharp. I ordered 4 tactical/defense knives at once, this being the smallest and I swear this thing could take on those other knives even in spite of its shortness based on sharpness of knife (possibly lol).Overall Thoughts: In all seriousness, this thing fits into my pocket without me even realizing it so be careful about concert venues with zero weapons policy or you'll lose your show or lose your knife. Equally a bummer. I would literally give it and 10/10. I am not expert but show me something as light, quick to open, and sharp as this one and I am all ears. Plus it looks down right sexy..no joke. Almost embarrassed of one of my tac knives, this thing I show it off as much as I can. Oh and the #1 use I didn't expect, slicing right through mail parcels with ease...like bread n butter....BUY IT DUDE~~~~~!!!!

Awesome knife by Smith and Wesson!
This is my daily carry knife, and it is called on to do many tasks throughout my career as a construction worker. I dont abuse it too much, as it might be called on to protect me too. The blade stays sharp, if I dont abuse it by cutting drywall and other abrasive materials, as I have knives for that. I love how it fits in my pocket when clipped on. It doesn't feel cumbersome either. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it, and it gets thrown into the laundry. Its stainless steel so I dont worry if it gets wet at all. But I do keep it clean and dry most of the time.

Good utility blade, not exactly tactical if that's what you want.
The factory edge was a bit lacking, but that's what I expect from a factory edge.I use this knife all day at work mainly for opening boxes and occasionally scraping gunk off of glass and the like.Once I had given it a proper sharpening it kept an edge for about a week which is pretty good as far as blades in this price range go.Keep in mind a week is about 50 boxes I'm cutting into. It's smaller and light than you'd expect from the picture. The lockup is solid (feels fixed)I do wish the belt clip could be switched to left handed and/or moved the the base of the grip, but I didn't buy this to be used as a tactical blade.

I loved it so much
I loved it so much, very nice feeling holding in the hand, nice blade, everything, was awesome! Very small - attention, this is not a knife, it's penknife or a pocket knife, if you want to buy a regular knife than buy a regular knife. It's not meant to do knife stuff, it used to cut boxes, envelopes, small stuff, lids that don't open and anything that needs a cut that comes into your head right now. I used to carry it my jeans pocket every time, but sadly, I lost it. It just fell out it, though I used the clamp. I'm thinking buying it again. I will definitely suggest you to have a cord so you won't loose it.

Sharp!
Love this little blade. It is sharp, passes the paper test easily. My only complain is that it can be a little difficult to close the knife if trying to close with one hand. Already have knicked my thumb trying to close with one hand. But I still use it every day just about.

Canivete Smith & Wesson Ck404
