Q: Is the headband part of the wig or is it separate?

It's separate. I use the wig to cosplay as Kaneki at cons!

Q: On one of the reviews, it says "the mask didn't cover my husbands face". Does this come with a mask?

Mine did not come with a mask. It came with a headband that looked like it was child sized. I use a snow mobile mask for my cosplay. Looks great and is breathable.

This is just the hair. If you search for just the headband it it's metal.

Normal headband. Actually a bit small like a child size. Will probably not cover anyone's eye.
