Love, love, love this product!!I had several reasons for trying this product. The main ones were that I have extremely sensitive skin, especially on my face. I have had absolutely no trouble since changing to this about a week ago. I have always had horrible winter skin. Now that I am a diabetic it has become off the charts worse. There was a marked improvement after the very first use of this soap. With each subsequent use I have been able to decrease the amount of moisturizer needed. The moisture obtained from use of the soap also lasts, unlike lotions.Now, for the really amazing things. First, more than once, I have been complemented on my skin. Not only does it moisturize but (I guess) because it cleans without stripping, my skin appears to people, to be almost younger looking. Not the lines and wrinkles but the skin in general. Secondly, I had read in a couple of the reviews that people used it as shampoo. Since I have also been having trouble with dry hair I thought I would give it a try. To be honest I thought that I would hate it. After all, the wonderful benefits are from the olive oil. I thought that it would be impossible to rinse out and would either leave my hair on the greasy side, or if not, that it would very quickly become greasy. WRONG!!! On both counts. It rinsed out much easier than the shampoo that I have been using and my hair's volume lasted easily till the next shampoo. No grease and no flatness. It still completely amazes me.Now, there IS a smell. I would not call it like olives nor would I call it a clean smell. I have to admit that I don't like it. I think that the benefits are so wonderful that I would use it anyway. Luckily, the smell that is left behind is not as strong and very quickly dissipates to the point of not being detectable. I have already ordered more soap to make sure that I never run out. Especially since my friend took half of this bar!

Absolutely WONDERFUL! Euro-Mediterranean soap is by far superior to any US brand -that I have ever tried. I'm done searching, and now ONLY purchase Euro-Mediterranean soap. The do last an incredibly long time, but for variety, I do mix them up a bit. The Greek Soap is olive green ugly - but matches well with the muted tones in my shower. The smell doesn't overpower by any means - it's clean and fresh. It's the lather that just blows me away followed closely by the squeaky clean skin and how well it moisturizes the skin. I use it with my Clairsonic as part of my nightly facial cleanse, but watch out.... the soap does burn and sting the eyes. Anyway, the soap is well worth the price, lasts forever, cleanses and moisturizes, lathers for days (best results are with a bath puff) and is made from pure ingredients -without all the nonsense fillers.

I always use olive oil soap during the winter - nothing works better to prevent dry skin. This soap is really nice but I'm giving it only 4 stars because it is so large as to be almost unusable. Whatever you do, don't drop it on your toe! I've gotten around the bulk problem by re-purposing an old nylon bath sponge and tying a piece of the netting around the soap. Voila! D-I-Y soap-on-a-rope.

i enjoy this soap a lot. I fell in love with Olive Oil soap during a trip to Turkey several years ago, and like the someone coarser feel of bricks of soap you in countries which make them, not the perfumed overly refined kind from US or French or fancy sources. And this one is from GREECE, so you are making your tiny contribution to the economy there. By lots! Give to your friends. Excellent feel of cleanliness, super natural feel, no smells, lasts a long time.

The soap works well however it smells terrible. It smells like like I've been in a ash pit. Skin is soft but smell is so bad I can't use the soap.

I have a ton of allergies due to eczema and neuropathy, and this soap can sting a little, bit is very usable with few ingredients and doesn’t damage my skin. I believe it’s made with only olive oil, sea salt, and vitamin E. I only use a little and avoid broken skin. I rely on Epsom salt baths for all areas, but this soap is a G-dsend for the areas that can tolerate some soap.It’s the only soap I can use right now, and I’m glad I found it.

I love this soap it lasts a very long time it has great lather and makes your skin so soft. This is the only soap I will ever use I will most definitely be buying again.
