This was the first book nook I’ve ever put together and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this kit! Pieces went together well and extras provided in case you break some of the more delicate pieces. Only had to use 2 of the extras once I got the hang of how much pressure to apply. Great fun and beautiful results!

I absolutely loved doing this project! Every piece was made with great quality, every detail beautifully done, and the instructions were so detailed and easy to follow! It can definitely take a while and at some points, you need a little extra elbow grease, but I was so sad when I was done doing it, because I enjoyed every minute! But then I was happy because it looks beautiful on my shelf! It’s a win-win! 😁

This kit comes with screw driver, emory board, glue and batteries. The pieces snap together well and I didn't need much glue. All the wooden pieces are marked clearly, on both sides! The sides that need to be glued together are clearly marked with matching letters. Truly, there is no way to mistakenly put these together unless you pay absolutely no attention! The light is an easy installation. The only thing I would change is to put the instructions in color. They are very clear drawings but color would make it even better. Definitely recommend this kit.

This was very easy to put together. The parts are well constructed. They were easy to pop out and easy to assemble. The hardest part for me was assembling the battery compartment with the bottom floor. That one took me forever to do because the fit was so tight that it kept popping apart. Overall, it took me about five hours from start to finish to complete. I love the look of it. I love this product overall, and would recommend it to any hobbyist.

Ok, I've built all three Dolphin Island booknook kits (because they are the best builds IMO) and I'm waiting quietly for another. *Twiddles her thumbs* Anything yet? No? OK I'll wait some more. I truly LOVE these kits! The pieces fit together beautifully and the patterns and colors are perfect! I've scratched my head a time or two but eventually the light comes on. And, it's an amazing feeling when I figure it out! Thank you, Dolphin Island! Now hurry up with more please 😁.

My boyfriend LOVES Lego and building things. This seemed like a fun option and less expensive than Lego. He built it in only a few hours and it looks so perfect on his shelf. He loves to read so the library was a perfect option. He also has it set up so that the light in the library is on a timer. So cute!!

Highly detailed and pretty easy to assemble as long as instructions are followed step by step. I paid $22 (an Amazon limited special) for it but fear the tariffs will put this beyond reach of it's target audience. Too bad.

The only bad thing I can say about this is that it's addicting and I finished it faster than I wanted! The little pieces are so cute and fairly realistic once they're put together. The little light makes it really lovely on the bookshelf. The directions were easy to follow too, no mini Ikea situation here!
