I needed to do some serious bonfire action in the garden so I I pop opted for the drum over the flimsy dustbin size incinerators you get from the DIY chains. If I was to say this drum is too good for what I'm using it for it would be an understatement. The drum looks new and the previous contestants were 100% apple juice concentrate (no additives) from a household name. I think you could happily store food in this drum if you wanted as it was spotless and odorless. Very pleased indeed.

Very clean and delivered earlier than expected. Lid could be closed and locked with no problem. Securely shipped my goods and the contents were intact.

Sprayed black, the drum has made a superb and cost effective planter for a large shrub.

Drum arrived before the delivery date, and apart from a few scratches on the outerside of the drum, it was clean inside with no noticeable odour of what was in the drum before it was purchased by me. However, the green colouring on the inside bottom of the drum began rubbing off on the items I packed inside the drum. I had to remove the items and try to wipe out the bottom of the drum but this did not stop the green paint from transferring onto the kitchen towels I used to wipe out the drum, so I placed a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the drum to stop the green paint from transferring onto the items I was packing to ship to the caribbean.The drum is still worth every penny I paid for it, and I would have awarded 5 stars if it hadn't been for the green substances at the bottom of drum

Excellent condition barrel, very clean and had been previously used to transport orange juice concentate so internally very clean so no nasty chemicals residue. Sealing ring and lid secure really tightly.Very pleased and definitely recommended.

Husband converts it into an incinerator for burning our rubbish. Works very well.Very sturdy .

Found this as I had become frustrated that we have entered such a dysmal state of capitalism that a simple 80l bin costs over £100. I had to empty our old 50l bin daily and honesty I'm too lazy for that so I started looking for a bigger bin but unfortunately I'm not one of the social elite who can afford £100 for a 30l upgrade. This drum fits 210l wheelie bin bags perfectly, and the loop that's supposed to make the lid water tight is perfect to clamp the top of the bag in so it doesn't slide down. I empty the bin like once a week now it's great, and this thing cost the same as our old 50l pedal bin. Felt a bit bad for the poor Amazon driver who had to lug this upstairs to deliver.
