Great game! Check your tile set though
Amazing Entry-Level Gateway Board GameThis is a valid purchase whether you’re looking for a first board game as an introduction to the hobby or just want a fun and simple filler to add to the collection. It’s a village-builder with rules simple enough for all ages to grasp quickly, yet gameplay deep enough to make you spend a minute contemplating your next move. On your turn, you pick two building tiles from the display and place them on a personal board trying to make “clusters” of same-coloured buildings in your village. The game runs smooth and fast with little downtime. It takes about 40mins for the first run, and about 15-20 mins for the second and the following ones. There is an element of luck in the whole process, but mostly the game is about choices, which makes it a great alternative to such dice-fest classics like monopoly.Production quality is just great: the colours are bright and the sturdiness/thickness of cardboard is high. Something you would expect from a classic european board game like carcassone or settlers of catan. The only issue I had with it was the game’s set: my box contains 5 flower stalls and 1 restaurant, and it should be 3 stall and 3 restaurant tiles each. Doesn’t fully break the balance, but I think alters it significantly. So make sure to check how many of each tile you have once you open the box, according to one of the player aids. My issue was solved by Kheo Games - they actually sent a new box to me! This is really unbelievable and I thank them with all my hearts for going the extra mile.Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a family-friendly experience and/or enjoy city-building vibes of Sim City/Cities Skylines.Highly recommend!

An interesting board game
What I like most about this game is that it can keep both kids and adults interested in it for the entire duration of the game. It makes you think and play which is a welcome break from the PS/Video games that our kids play all the time. It was good fun to play with other family members on a weekend. It's a good, thoughtful gifting option as well.
