I wanted a vent with a specific size and shape to replace an old cat door that the previous owner had installed on his shop door. This vent cover fit the bill perfectly. It's lightweight plastic, but seems well made, has a screen on the back to keep critters out, if needed, and has screw caps to hide the screws after installation. I bought two, so I could place on both sides of my door. Just watch out for the dimensions in the listing. This is marked as a 6" x 6" grill, but that is for the hole in the wall size. The outside dimensions are nearly 8" x 8". Fortunately I noticed that before I ordered.

Good quality-non flimsy metal. Apply a little sticky tape and viola, the hole is covered, and has airflow, as well as is still easily accessible if needed. Much better than looking at an open hole.

It's looks nice and works as intended and best of all won't rust or brak the bank.

Used this as a “cover up” on a vent replacement that is no longer made. It covered the airway perfectly and it was extremely easy to put up. I used a drill only! It came with 3 screw and some nice screw covers for a seamless look! Air drafts through it perfectly! Great price for a big upgrade! I had no problems with the fit.
