Excellent Product and Nice Packaging but
I have been using this drive since last 2 months and haven't faced any issue while video editing 4k. no lag or drop frames. I was delivered on time and seller did a nice job packaging this item very carefully. I bought the 6tb version of this drive and which was not offered by Lacie, the only point i was to highlight is the warranty offered by the Company, it is 3 years and it is not mentioned on the amazon page like the lacie sellers mention 5 year warranty on the page. it was mentioned on the box and i got disappoint by finding it out that this version of Professional G drive offers only 3 year warranty, so now i am not sure what is inside this drive, Probably not a Enterprise Class Drives inside.

Built quality is super

Super fast on back up
It’s a great device for the price and for macs that have over 3-4 tb of space , this is one good device for a physically back up . Does make all kinds of sounds while in use , also a bit confusing at times with the light , I can’t make out if it’s on or not . But inc connected to the mac , it will show up or simply just remove power n plug it back on and start ur back up .

Faulty drive
Please don’t buy this drive, I’ve had to replace the first one as it randomly failed on me and it just happened again after they wiped off my data and sent me a new one. The drive itself is flawed, I will probably never buy a drive from this brand again.

Makes cracking sound
Hard disk is already making, cracking sound when in use

Not Bad
Storage is fast. Build quality is really good. But makes sound as compared to lacie. The thing which disappointed is power issue. Idk power button is complicated never seemed to work fine. Mac & Gdrive need to power on at same time if not in 10 secs hdd get on sleep. Later even power button main switch doest work we need to re plug power cable to hdd to make it work again.

it make a wired sound even if ideal and also make the HDD vibrate ... would not have buyed it knew this before... now can't return.
