Great product!
I rarely write reviews and never include photos but I had to for this product.I was skeptical about the idea of co-wash shampoo. But since menopause I have been fighting a war with my hair. I workout daily and feel I have to wash my hair. Rinsing isn’t enough. My hair is either dry and unmanageable or limp.Today I tried this and I love it. It feels so cool and refreshing on the scalp. I love the scalp massager. It rinses well and my hair felt perfectly clean and conditioned.I styled my hair using my usual products - a smoothing serum and a bit of root lifter. My hair has body and shine. It feels soft and manageable and no flyaways in my face! It’s a bit pricey but it was worth it! I highly recommend.

Does exactly what it says! A first!
OMG! My hair was loosing curl and dull and dry and all styling products were itching my head less than 24 hrs after use. I used Hairstory ONCE and my hair was noticeably shinier when it was wet, easy to comb, curls sprang up and head felt so clean and not dry or itchy, even after using curling crème and hair spray. I’m shocked by the difference! Still very expensive so using it sparingly, but will buy again if results are like this after every wash.

Love this wash - but too expensive.
I have medium-thick hair that’s reached my bra strap. It’s basically a lot of thin strands. I have a shag cut - lots of layers and it’s dyed dark brown.I love New wash - I get my hair wet then divide it horizontally from the tops of my ears, and flip the top half up, over my face. Get 1 pump and mix it with my hands and slide one hand from the part, up over the top of my head - use the other handful to smear from the part down the back. Flip the hair back so the new wash cream is on my scalp and in the middle of my hair. One more pump to rub between my hands and get the top of my head and the other hand gets the underneath of my hair by the nape. Use the scrubby thing to scrub my scalp and rub through the length of my hair - comb through with my fingers or a comb, and leave it for a minute or so while I wash my body/face. Rinse with warm water. I love the smell and it’s quick, easy, and my hair feels clean and soft - like after I’ve washed/conditioned. I wash it 1-2 times a week.However.It’s really freakin’ expensive. Even if I don’t use much. It lasts awhile because I don’t have to wash often. But it’s pricy. I was shocked at how small this pouch is for $54.

This absolutely works!!!!!
Recommended by my hairdresser. My hair would fade color within a few weeks. This product has kept the color vibrant as the day I had it done

Ridiculous Price for this Product!!!
Not to brag, but I have AMAZING hair! It’s 100% my best asset (I lucked out with phenomenal hair genes). It’s long, thick, air dries to beachy waves, blow dries straight or holds a kinky curl forever if I tell it to. So this product’s claims had me intrigued. I already only wash my hair every 4 days and don’t mind no suds. But the first time I used this, it took me 19 pumps to evenly coat my hair! At the insanely ridiculous price of $40 for 8 oz (8 oz is nothing), those with long, thick or coarse hair will burn through this product so quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I will drop money on my hair - IF A PRODUCT WORKS - but this product is not worth it! After washing, I let my hair air dry. The look, the feel everything is the same as it is with my normal shampoo and conditioner. So basically I'd rather buy my salon shampoo and conditioner (organic and also SLS free) at $40 for 67.6 oz that lasts months. Of course I will use up this bottle and see if the results change whatsoever but so far I feel I've just been bamboozled really well by New Wash's marketing. I’m really curious to see allll the R&D that went in to formulate this product, especially when the SLS has been omitted (cost savings to the company right there). It's not like they're inventing the wheel with sulfate free shampoo. But they certainly are reaping all the profits as they've cut out regional distributors, bulk sales to salon owners, box retailers and e-tailers. I feel if they truly cared about the environment (like Toms, for example) and wanted to make a difference in the hair industry (e.g. like Aveda), they should get in touch with reality and bring that price point down.
