Chocolate was melted.
At sone point the chocolate had melted. The bars were in poor shape thus the quality was greatly diminished.

Delicious chocolate, poor packing
Ordinarily I would give this product five plus stars, because we really love these particular chocolates. However, although the outer box was not damaged (although it was super dusty), the inner box looked like it had been dropped or banged around, as the corners of it were bent. And every single chocolate bar in the box is badly broken. These were a gift that I can't give now. There was no padding around the thin inner box inside the bigger sturdier outter box, so I imagine that it could have got shaken around just in the shipping process. I keep reminding myself it really isn't a good idea to buy things online when you can't see them... and yet I still fall for the convenience of it and do it. Especially harder to find things like these.
