Unfortunately does make a reliable steady connection
Disclosure upfront : Review is of the product and NOT the Seller. Product did not function as intended and Amazon arranged a hassle free refund.The main issue i seem to encounter was getting a stable connection between the LED Strip 4 metal connector bits and this connector ... No matter how i tried the connection was unreliable and loose ... might just be me not doing it right, but hey i did spend some time trying to make it work ... alas it was not to be . That said and done the 4 wire connectors side were perfectly fine and a strong reliable connection was quickly established. However it was useless without the proper LED strip connection ( circuit just not completed )In summation i think best to pass on this specific model of the product as i personally feel it doesn't do the task it had been designed for unfortunately. Kudos to Amazon for arranging a full price refund though !

overpriced and very poor
found these very, very poor, i followed all instructions but never managed to get a decent connection to the waterproof 5050 strip i was trying to use, ended up soldering across the connections before i ran out of length of strip trying to get connection.it is supposed to puncture through the back of the strip, but gets next to no connection due to low surface contact area, i was very disappointed with these

Best connector I've used so far on led strip, just have to take the time to fit properly
Can be a bit fiddly at first, but once you've got it, they are really good. Best connector I've used so far. Stronger than solder and doesn't lose contact when moved about as with other connectors for led strip. I used a pair of pliers to get a really good deal over the wire. I made sure the led strip was cut straight,and butted up inside the connector,as with the wire end. UJust take the time to fit properly and they work really well. I Will buy these again.

Not easy to use at all
I just about got these working with a lot of hard work.They are very inadequate especially at making a connection on the wire side. The mechanism for piercing through the wire sheath just doesnt work and you get no connection. I had to strip each wire and then put it in place, which then meant the device didnt hold the wires in and would just fall out so I had to botch a way to hold the cable in place.This is NOT a simple drop in thing. You may as well solder it manually if your LED strip will allow for it.The only reason its 2 stars rather than 1 is because the connection on the LED strip side did work and was for the most part a reasonable connection.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin.
Sadly these do not work as they should. I spent ages trying to work out where I had gone wrong with such a simple item. Turned out that the small metal connections just don't connect. Wasn't until I investigated further with a multimetre that I realised this. Eventually with some persistence and persuasion with a small flathead screw on the wire ends by forcing the wires in and folding the led strip end so the exposed copper sits directly on top of the connections it finally worked. I can't recommend this product as its simply not a quick 'plug and play as it should be' Avoid.

Doesn't hold led strip securely. Avoid.
Utterly useless. Seems imppssoble to get a stable connection on the led strip itself. Wire connection works ok, but not the connection to the led strip itself which can move easily and therefore breaks contact. Ended up making solder joints which of course always work.

Connect and Grip Well
All 10 of these connectors worked flawlessly. They connect and grip well unlike the cheaper crimp types where the LED strip tends to work loose. No need to peel off the waterproof coating as the pins slice into the strip and the same with the wires. Will definitely get more.

Try to find somewhere else if you can
Long story short, extension cable wires do not stay in place and simply falls out if you leave the wire to hang (lets say 1-1.5m wire). 2 broke already as I had to open them pretty wide because there were issues trying to insert the waterproof LED's. so far, out of 4, 2 works but are basically wrapped in electric tape to keep wires from coming out. Was hoping 10 will be enough but at this rate I'll need 1 or 2 more packs. Just to mention, they DO WORK, and if you use enough tape, it may stay in place.
