55 Piece Battle for the Alamo 60mm Texan and Mexican Soldier Figures Toy Set

First of all these are toys. so don't expect the same quality you would get from proper wargaming figures. The Mexicans are accurate for the period, with a good mix of poses, and you get a figure of Santa Anna himself.You get Travis, Crickett and Bowie in the defenders who are all well scuplted. The other Alamo defenders are not as well sculpted as the Mexicans, some of the poses, proportion and faces are quite odd.

Brilliant set of plastic soldiers in 1/32 scale. The Texans are moulded in brown and the Mexicans in grey.The Texan figures include Davy Crocket, Jim Bowe and Colonel Travers , who all look great and are very well detailed.. The rank and file Texans are not very well detailed but are ok. The Mexican troops are very well detailed with great varied poses. These guys could be used as Napoleonic French IMO.My only bugbear is there are a large proportion of the Texan infantry firing up, as if shooting at the ramparts. This is great if you have ramparts of the chapel but there were none.They look great though at firing at cavalry if you can get some that match this set.

about one of the few sets that can be used in a diorama of the alamo,the mexican troops are very goodand its the only set I know where you get Col Crocket jim bowie travis good quality product ,Ive bought six packs so far for my dioramas and sold them. I intend to buy another 4 sets this week,
