Great pool heater I recommend it 100% read on
I got this same model from AES and I’m very happy with it, I also added the WiFi controller which now allows me to control the heater from anywhere over WiFi or 3g/4g network. I’m using this to heat a intex 16ft pool that holds over 19000ltr of water, on a day there about 17/20 degrees outside I can get 1/2 oC per hour of heat to the pool, on a day of 25/27 I get just under 1oC per hour. I’m using a sand filter pump with 6m2 per hr flow rate, this heater with take 2.6m2 max water pressure input so a bypass kit is needed. It’s very power efficient using 1.4kw and outputs upto 10kw of heat power. I recommend getting a bypass kit as your need to adjust pressure in and out of the heat pump to optimise the heat effectiveness, 22/23 bar pressure on the gauge it will give you 10kw of heat which is its optimum output. Nice to see it’s plastic casing outside as metal ones do rust after time. It’s also much quieter than my last heat pump and softer startup with no power surge. It also cools the water if needed. I highly recommend the additional WiFi display module which is available from AES as it’s lets you turn the heat pump on/off, check temp, view stats, change from heat to cooling, and more,Always remember it’s better to get a higher KW output heat pump than specs say so if your pool is 5000 ltrs get one that is recommend for a 7500 ltr pool and so on.Hope this helps anyone thinking about pool heating.

Impressed
Purchased this heat pump earlier in the year, so feel that I can now give an honest review.Delivered on a palate, well wrapped and with all the instructions needed to get it up and working. Installation was simple enough and we had it up and running in the day with a few adjustments to the existing pipework.Bought this with the idea of being able to extend the pool season, and I have to say it has done exactly that. I was quite conservative with the temperature kept at 26 degrees on the heat pump. But it is easy enough to whack it up a lot higher if you need to. It extended my pool season and kept the pool at a much more constant temperature than previous years. We have dismantled it for the winter - a simple enough process to just unscrew the inlet and outlet pipes, and have got it stored in the garage for winter.Would I recommend ? YesAll in all very pleased with this heat pump after one seasons use so far.
