Having repurchased this product again I thought it was time for a review...This is easily one of the best shampoo bars I've tried.1. It doesn't have that waxy residue during the first few uses many bars have2. It lathers well and easily, making it fast to use without having to keep adding copious amounts of water3. It smells good, not a strong scent though if that's what you're after4. It works well to remove brassy tones5. Cleans up hair lovely, no greasy residue and lovely and soft afterwardsFor reference I have fine, dyed blonde, shoulder length hair

I had low expectations as I have tried so many brands. I have curly dry hair. I colour my hair with dye boxes, so not the best condition. This is the best solid shampoo I have tried. It leaves my hair in better condition, less dry and softer. I use that when travelling to avoid liquid (planes restrictions ) and risk of leaks. So I can't say long term but I will buy another one for travel as I lie, it.To compare, I have used very expensive brands (Morocco oil brand or whatever the name plus Redken) and. For my type of hair, it is actually much better! But then this is shampoo so its simple job is to clean. Maybe my use of castor oil now also helps. In any case I will buy more of it as it seems pretty good in my hair, with or without castor oil.I forgot to add it foam quickly, so à little goes a long way.On the minus side, it is round and I have not found a box where it fits so I use a sandwich bag. Not ideal. It also melts rather fast so won't last super long. But then it might be me and the way I use it. I am a swimmer so I wash my hair very often and chlorine is not great for hair etc....but overall, as I said, my hair loves it and I will buy it again.Sorry for the rambling :)

I have very long and thick hair and due to its weight I sometimes struggle to clean my full scalp when in the shower. I’ve always been sceptical about trying a shampoo bar, however since using this one my scalp has never felt so good! My hair is in great condition too and the clean feeling lasts! The smell is one you get used to over time, not unpleasant however not the sweet artificial ones you can get with shampoo bottles - it has also grown on me!My hair has a lovely shine and it lathers really well. My only downside is the bar seems a bit on the little side but that may be down to the thickness of my hair, it doesn’t seem to last half as long as the same priced bottle of shampoo. However the environmental factor of reducing plastic waste keeps me using this over others.

I was starting to struggle with greasy roots so decided to give it a try. My hair looked the best it has in months after using and I managed to go 3 days before needing to wash it again. Smells lovely, lathers well, shame it didn’t come with a waterproof tin/box

Didn't work for me - made my hair feel greasy and didn't help with itching/flaking. But leaving 3 stars as it lathers up really well, and I liked the eco packaging and ingredients. Just not for me. Will use up as a body wash

I got this for my son who had a dry itchy scalp. Works great and he doesn't have any problems now.

I cannot believe how good this product is! I wish I had moved to bar hair products earlier.I really cannot believe that on the second wash I noticed less of my hair coming out both after washing and the first brush through after washing. I didn't buy this product for this reason, but am soooooo pleased that not only is the shampoo extremely good quality (lathers excelently and leaves hair feeling clean and nourished, but that it is also halving my hair loss!!!! I will be buying again and just wish this company made corresponding conditioner bars!

I found this very drying and made my hair more frizzy / static. Had to use a lot of conditioner and even then, it was still dry.I have given it two stars as I should be able to use it occassionally for deep cleansing or to remove product build up. Certainly couldn't use it regularly. Luckily it didn't cause itchiness or dandruff and I've used it twice so far.
