ONE Touch Ultra 2 Blood Monitoring System - Complete Kit (Strips and Supplies Are Not Included)

My first Onetouch Ultra Smart lasted 24 years so my expectation was pretty high to the OneTouch Ultra 2 upgrade. I was not disappointed. Lightweight and fits in the palm of your hand. Also came with a new finger stick device and sample lancets. Could barely feel the puncture. That's Huge for me. I tried the Onetouch Ultra Plus Flex but my insurance didn't cover those test strips. Even though it was an all in one design, everytime I opened the test strips the unused strips fall out if you forget to close it right away. Very annoying. When I found the upgrade to the Ultra Smart I was elated. All in all I was very satisfied. Here's hoping for another 24 years with the OneTouch Ultra 2.

I recently purchased this product because in the past I had cheaper blood glucose meter because some of the other meters on the market were too costly and the test strip were again way too costly so I had the Contour meter and the Reli-On meterthe meters on both these product were better priced as well as the test strip but I thought because they were cheaper after using them for a couple of years that they were giving me falsely high blood sugar reading so recently purchased the Onetouch meter and test strips they were both significantly higher in price but I thought they would give me a more accurate reading but when I took tested my blood sugar with the high priced meter and strips I found the reading as to be the same or similar as readings with the two cheaper priced meters and test strip so more expensive does not always mean better . So what I'm telling you is stay away from Onetouch meters and test strips they are ripping you off you'll get the same results with a cheaper priced Contour meter and blood glucose test strips or a Reli-On meter and blood glucose test strips abd save yourself some hard earned money and get the same results. Don't buy Onetouch or any of the other high priced meters and blood glucose test strips because THEY RIPPING YOU OFF !!!
