Quality!
Just tuned my snare with this head today for the first time.. I was blown away by how fat it made the snare sound! Had a great crack and minimal sustain but enough to cut through the mix.Can't praise this head enough! Also put a new Evans snare side 500 on the bottom and for me it's an unbeatable combination! All hail the Genera Dry!

The best
This is a killer head, even my band mates commented that my snare sounds good. That's unusual! Really good, controlled attack, no need for moon gel or tape. I play old school punk, and this head sounds great on my pork pie snare. Recommended

Awesome!
This is one of the better more versatile heads offered by evans.I play in a variety of bands covering varying genres and find this skin on my snare to give me a lot of diversity in my tuning within one head.It's super strong so can take a good beating which also helps with durability.Overall i think this is my favourite snare head on the market.

Bonjour.Cette peaux de cc est clairement conçu pour être accordée assez relâché pour un son bien gras et profond et assez spécifique pour une caisse clair en bois multipli. Elle n'es pas conçu pour un accordage tendu car vous allez perdre le bénéfice de l'effet sourdine interne et évent de décompression tout petit orifices (dry) sur tout le pourtour de la peau de façon à minimiser la résonance lors de la frappe en rimshot. En revanche la peau de résonance doit être relativement tendu! Et le timbre assez "relâché" Ps : Conçu pour un jeu jazzy pop acoustique léger et subtil avec baguette en érable et balais sans modération ...
