Worked perfect as a replacement for a blown AR pump
My AR pump failed after about 15 years of use. The 3700 psi had gotten down to about 1800 psi before it finally let loose. I was looking at 600 to 800 dollars to replace the pump. After a month of debating I decided to give the Vevor pump a try for $156. It works great. I have a gauge installed and realized that my 11hp motor did not have the full power to run 4400 psi which is fine. I turned the pressure down to 3100 psi and it works great. At the price if I get 5 years out of the pump then I gor my money's worth. I mainly use it to wash school buses before I bring them in for inspections and other maintenance. I also use it at home since it belongs to me and not the company. I am happy with the performance only the pump. I did purchase some high quality pump oil and I am planning to do an oil change after the first couple hours of use. I might purchase a spare for the shelf since the price is so low. Again it is a great pump at a great price. I have only had it less than a week but have used it for 1.5 hours straight and it worked exactly as advertised.

Very well built pump!
My original pump had several leaks, and I replaced the pressure regulator assembly a few years ago. It was the original D____S OEM brand. Had many problems with this pump leaking because the threads on most of the components were very fine and could actually be stripped easily if tightened too much. The problem was, it would leak unless very tight. Go figure. This new pump looks to be built much better, and was less costly than just the parts for the old one. I had a tough time removing the old pump from the shaft because it was quite rusted. I had to take apart the front and back covers of the pump, and ended up using an air chisel with a blunt end to actually push the pump further onto the shaft slightly. Once I could tell it moved, I was able to pull the pump off. I wire brushed the engine shaft until it was like new, then greased it slightly. The new pump slid right on, I re-used the old bolts to fasten it, then installed the fill cap. Cleaned up the area, hooked up the water hoses, and I had pressure like never before. WOW! I had to hold onto the sprayer handle very firmly as the pressure of the water really pushed me back. The spray is not only powerful, but very even with each of the nozzles. I ordered the 4200/4.0 unit btw. This pump is awesome, much quieter, and although I have just started using it, I can tell it's built to last. Extremely happy I chose this pump, both for the cost and performance. It took me about 2hrs to remove the old pump, about 10 min to install the new one.

Doesn’t generate rated pressure but still ok
Replaced a discontinued CAT triplex mounted to Honda GX270. Bolts right up. Came with new bolts and a flat rectangular shaft key I didn’t use (reused existing). Pump comes filled with oil so you don’t have to buy any right away. If you do buy oil the table in the manual makes it seem like a good synthetic diesel oil (e.g. Rotella T6) would work for all climates in the USA. Garden hose inlet and quick disconnect for pressure washer hose already mounted. Quick disconnect is mounted with female quick coupler on the pump. Pump installation is literally 5 minutes or less. The pump does produce a bit more than 3000 psi at full throttle, but not 4000 psi as claimed. You decide if that’s a problem. I should say that the manual says that this pump requires more horsepower than my 9 HP Honda (I think it says 11-15 HP for this model). Not sure if that’s why it doesn’t generate rated pressure. The pressure adjustment seems to work well to dial in desired pressure between 1000-3000 psi. When the trigger is not depressed, the pump “surges” up and down (between about 1000 psi and 3000 psi) which is new to me (after 40 years of owning pressure washers). It sounds kinda weird but nothing broke. Not sure if this a problem, a defect, or a feature. I’m speculating it does this on purpose to prolong pump life, but that’s a guess - there doesn’t seem to be any thermo protection so that’s my speculation. When you hold the trigger, pressure is constant at just over 3000 psi. I ran it for 30 minutes washing my driveway and it wasn’t too hot to touch (the old CAT would have been on fire). My initial impression after shopping for pumps for months is that this one might be a good value for the money - it was definitely the least expensive pump in its category. Can’t yet comment on its life cycle but it does come with a full set of new O-rings which was a surprise. It seems like Amazon was watching me put it in my cart, not it buy it for months, remove it, and repeat because when I went back to it the last time they offered it at a nicely reduced price which caused me to pull the trigger - again this is speculation but possible. I think I paid about $165. The CAT replacement pump (newer model) was well over $600.Seem like it’s difficult to imagine being badly burned by a <$200 pump even if it only lasts a few years, and who knows how long it will perform?
