These bags are pretty poor quality. The plastic itself is cheap and crinkly.I have experimented with the tightening caps. Some I've tightened with only finger strength and others with full force and none of them hold their seal. And it's not really a slow leak either, they will lose their seal overnight. I can't tell if the leak is in the cap area or along the seam of the bags.I gave the bags 2 stars because I guess they are still somewhat functional to keep dust and bugs off of your clothes. But don't count on them for the vacuum seal/space-saving quality.

I bought these over a month ago and used them right away. I'm alright with having to hand pump the air out with the device that comes with it. What I don't like is I've used 6 of them and at least 4 of them have had to be re-pumped 3 or 4 times. I always get all the air out and seal it, but there may be a leak somewhere that I can't find. I actually went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get some better ones that work like they should.

I love these bags we just moved cross country and it really helped with all of our blankets towels and clothes. We’re now using them for our winter clothes or those clothes you can’t get your wife to get rid of for reason when they don’t fit anymore

I was excited to get these thinking they would reduce space with all the kids extra bedding we have. They were great at first. Three days later only one out of the five we used are still good. I followed the instructions and ensured they were sealed properly. I'm not sure where the leak is but they are back to the original starting size. Hoping I can still return them and get my money back.

Bags and pump worked really well. Unfortunately, one of my bags had a leak, which I discovered after packing it all the way. I have only used 5 of the remaining 7, but all of those were airtight. I also used the pump on another brand of space saver bags. When fully packed with clothes, the bag fits well in a standard size hard sided suitcase.

Happy with this purchase. Works well just like the name brand. The bag material is a little thinner but if used just for storage where the bag is not toss around much these should work for you too.

I stuffed these full of my kids clothes that they have outgrown to save room in our storage and they have stayed vacuumed!

Two of the bags did not retain the air and after just a few days of using the other bags they have deflated thus defeating the purpose.
