The screens improve the air flow a lot compared to the originals.

Exactly as expected, have used these and they are branded and good quality. No complaints.

All parts were original, at best price and quality 👍

The new shape screens are a huge improvement on the older flimsy ones.They pop out a lot more easily when cleaning the unit, and are more robust. They don’t bend in protest at being forced out when you’re flossing the pipe.Weirdly, the first one of the new screens I put into my Pax 2 didn’t stain at all from vaping tobacco for a week. After that, it did, but it’s also easier to clean off any congealed dark globs and general staining - the older ones don’t clean up well.I’m sure some will flinch at this, but I use the end of the multi tool to scrape off anything stubborn, and also to ensure it’s gone back in level and evenly after cleaning is finished.You put them in so that the screen is sitting with the edges facing upwards, like a tiny metal dish.If you put it in upside down, the seal between the screen and the air flow pipe won’t be as good, and there would be the risk of small pieces of vaping material getting trapped in the gully that the downturned lip would form.I managed to lose my original brush- we’ve turned the place upside down looking for it to no avail - and for a while, I was using the thin plastic straw thing that comes with cans of WD40, which sort of worked, but was labour intensive and ran the risk of me melting the straw (or whatever you call it) closed at one end.Pipe cleaners aren’t enough to really scrub that air flow pipe completely clean, and after reading glowing reviews about the new screens, I gave in and bought this maintenance set.I’m very happy to have a brush again. Nothing else comes close to its ability to clean efficiently.I still think it’s as overpriced as the Pax accessories always are, so for that, I’m taking away one star.If this was solely about quality and performance, it would be 5 stars, but for me, product reviews are also about pricing and value for money.They must make an absolute fortune on these sets. I can’t see that they would cost anything close to the £13.90 they’re currently charging Pax devotees.Highly recommended, but overpriced.
