Great novelty item with a nostalgic look
My husband loved this pocket watch that I gave him as a "just because" gift. This was a sturdy, but inexpensive gift. He loves pocket watches and added to his small collection. He has used it and he was thrilled with the look of a pocket watch and the nostalgia that it provides. It kept great time and attached it to his jeans. I'm glad that people still like to use a pocket watch.

Seller needs to add instructions with the watch.
I like the pocket watch very much. It is a gift for s young grandson who loves it. However the seller needs to add a note of instruction telling buyers to remove a very, very small clear plastic tab from under the watch stem. It is hard to see the small tab unless you get close and you are specially looking for it. After removing the tab and pushing the stem in, the watch begins to run. I sent one watch back to seller because it "wouldn't run". Probably would have worked just fine if I had removed the tab. Only reason that I looked for and found the tab is because after I received the second watch and it didn't run and I was getting ready to return the second watch, I read other reviews on the watch and read where one buyer had the same problem with the watch not running, but they discovered the tab. So thanks to them my grandson is enjoyed his pocket watch.

Perfect costume prop
I got this as a costume prop for a photo shoot and it looks great in it. It feels cheap and flimsy, but it looks nice in photos.
