The media could not be loaded.  This worked quite well for me. The pictures are captured at 1080x1440. So not really 1296p or even FHD - but it does provide an excellent view inside your ear. Similarly, the videos are 480x480 at 20fps - so not even 720p. However, compared to using a budget optical otoscope this is much clearer, and of course you can't use a regular otoscope to see inside your own ears. And also no way to use an otoscope with an ear scoop or tweezer. It does take some patience and practice to manipulate the scoop while looking at the phone.It requires using a mobile app, and there are XLife, BeBird, and iSEE apps that are published by "Black Bee Intelligent Manufacturing (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd." for iPhone and by "Heifeng Zhizao(Shenzhen)Technology Co.,Ltd." for Android. I installed the iSEE app because it was most recently updated. The app worked fine with a Samsung S21.When the app controls are showing, there is a hex-icon in the top-right for additional settings. I set the Camera Brightness to 25% which reduces the blown out colors. The setting actually dims the LEDs so might get a bit better battery life this way.I believe this has the best scoop design of any digital ear scope. The screw-on design uses a 3.5mm camera tube that is smaller diameter than the older models. The screw-on attachment has enough friction to make it impossible to unscrew and fall off in your ear. Using the scope without the scoop is great just to check for infection or irritation.It comes with 2 metal and 2 plastic scoops. It appears replacement BeBird tips would fit. But I would avoid using the plastic scoops because there are some other reviews/photos showing plastic tips broken off. Would not want a broken piece left in your ear.The original item had poor battery life, so I exchanged it. With the app still showing 27 minutes left, the battery died. Charged to 100% and 45 min, and when app showed 30 minutes, a 1 minute warning was shown and then died. And this happened way faster than 15 minutes (45-30 = 15).The replacement unit still shows 45 minutes at 100%. It does not last the full 45 minutes, and starts to die when showing 5 minutes left. But really, how long are you going to be digging your ears? I'm guessing run time is well over 20 minutes, at least double the original one. And it works when plugged into a charger. So if you have a spare mobile phone power bank, can keep going for a long, long time.It did not meet published specs for resolution, battery - but given price and functionality I still believe it rates a full 5 stars compared to any other alternatives.
