The fit of the product is good, and seems to offer the iPad excellent protection
I bought this cover for my iPad Mini 3. The product arrived yesterday, so the following is my initial view of the cover:The fit of the product is good, and seems to offer the iPad excellent protection. The stand design works well, and the construction quality of the cover appears to be good. The magnetic "catch" for closing the case functions well, and when in stand mode can be folded back (magnetically latching) to leave the screen free of viewing interference. The magnetic "sleep" feature of the case also seems to function well. The only reason for not giving this product 5 stars is that the design falls down on one aspect. The stand mode is designed for widescreen (landscape) viewing. However, if the user wants to hold the iPad rather than place it on a table (e.g. holding in a portrait orientation|), it is a bit uncomfortable. When not using the landscape orientation stand, it would be nice if the cover design could allow the back to close back on itself, fastening with the magnetic catch. This would allow for ease of holding the iPad, without the cover "flapping" in an unwieldy manner.

Love the stand on the design
Love the stand on the design. Only fault which is minor as this is a great product is that the iPad is slightly off from the point you use the home button but it isn’t so much that it can’t be used. Lovely feeling product, looks great. Love that when you have the iPad on the side and using the stand that the securing tag folds backwards and the magnet holds in place away from the screen.

Just the job for the iPad Mini 2
I have bought a number of budget iPad Mini 2 cases and have only found two to be satisfactory - this one at £20 and a faux leather one for slightly less than half that price. The cheaper non leather one was falling to bits after 18 months but nonetheless fitted well and made the iPad far easier to handle whilst also protecting it (it had a few falls from up to 3 feet and survived without tears).Update...Ten months later, and with a lot of use, the material has come away from the thin screen surround. Whilst the rest of the case is intact and working fine, having dangling material obdcuring the screen is a nuisance and very annoying. It is not possible to glue it back down. So I now have to decide if it is worth getting a new one or reverting back to a cheaper case. To its credit, my iPad has fallen off tables etc and survived unblemished thanks to the case. Given the gist and hassle of a repair, the case has been well worth the money. This one from Pupil is nicely presented in a nice box which whilst protecting the case before use and giving the impression that you have bought an item of value and taste, is of little use thereafter and yet must add to the price. The design of this case is virtually identical to the cheaper case so it fits the iPad Mini 2 perfectly. The main difference is that it it is real leather so looks great and should last a lot longer.Ignore the RRP and just look at what you get for just £20. I will report back if it ever falls apart.

I have just received my very pretty case for Ipad mini 3
I have just received my very pretty case for Ipad mini 3. Safely wrapped in protective layer of bubble wrap comes a box (that if you are ordering this product for a gift requires only a bit of a ribbon to look appealing) in which lays the most fancy ipad cover EVER. The leather feels so soft and pleasant. And there is a cute little touch of a "genuine leather" label attached to the case. I definitely feel like I have upgraded since my last cover, no more noisy velcro strips that make the whole train carriage wake up turn their heads toward you when you open the case to read Bloomberg news on the tube to work at 6am. Fancy genuine leather magnetic flaps that close quietly, beautiful precisely sewn seams, discreet embossed logo.. This is a beautiful cover, but at the same time feels sturdy enough to protect my ipad. Fancy but practical. All bases covered.

Hole problem
This is a lovely case. Very well made and nice to the touch. However - the reason for only 3 stars is 2 fold -1) The hole cut for the camera on the rear drops out of alignment, which when you're in a hurry to take a pic is annoying - you take the pic - see a big black shadow, then have to reposition the case and take it again.2) If you have large thick fingers like me, the size of the holes for the buttons and thickness of the leather make it quite difficult to locate the buttons to turn the iPad on or change the volume etc.But - its not a bank buster, so for the money it's okay.

He said to invest in something expensive like an ipad and then not protect it would be ...
At the time I purchased my ipad mini I was encouraged by the salesman to buy a case for its protection. He said to invest in something expensive like an ipad and then not protect it would be rather foolish. He then showed me a case costing £60 especially made for the ipad, saying it was over priced. An alternative he offered cost £35 and in his view “better value” - I said I would consider it. Fortunately, for me, it was wise not to have taken up his offer, as this item so readily proves. Its already been stated in many reviews that the quality of this case is superb and great value for the purchase price. I bought the black ipad-mini case and support the views of the five star ratings completely. The ipad is protected on its corners by this hard wearing heavy duty leather which is very well padded. When the case is closed the magnetic catch is attached to the lid, however, when in use it can be bent around to the other side of the lid and once again held in place by the magnet. The mini ipad fitted in the case will now be 2cm in depth which is very comfortable.I’ve tested the camera inside the case and there are no issues with shadow as stated in other reviews. My photographs came out perfectly, so no complaints on that subject from me.If you do find something seriously wrong with this product, then all I can say is that you are being “picky.”Pupil of Cambridge have come up with a winner here. So, thank you very much for providing a great product at an extremely competitive price. Satisfaction guaranteed.Don’t waste your money on those cheap £10 plastic holders, just stretch that little bit more and you will be delighted with your choice.
