Sound Cables HQ 3.5mm Jack Plug to 3.5mm Jack Socket Stereo Headphone Extension Cable 5m

I bought this cable to use as an extension cable for my Sennheiser Momentum Headphones. I already have a very long cable but it is very thin and gets tangled and knotted up. This one is much better. Also it's easy to pick out as it isn't yet another thin black cable with ends encased in yet more black plastic.This cable seems to be really nicely made of well chosen materials and has no impact on sound quality. It is also remarkably good value, especially when compared to similar items from big name headphone manufacturers or those boutique audiophile companies who feel the laws of physics don't apply to them (funnily enough they understand laws of economics rather better).I've ordered a couple more of different lengths and plug sizes so I can finally replace some other thin, tangly cables without feeling like I've volunteered to be mugged.

For the price of this extension you can't go wrong. The sound quality is perfect! I have however had to repeat buy this item twice as I have had a couple of accidents tripping over the wires and found that the actual adapter socket is made with a very soft metal and is easily bent. This has led to it breaking the audio connection too. If you are careful not to put stress on the actual socket or trip on the wire like I have done twice then I can't see why this extension won't do the job for some time to come. Just remember that the actual socket is made with a soft metal but the wire is sturdy enough and I would still recommend this item for the price as I reckon it's dirt cheap.

This is a great product at a great price. Fantastic build quality and good sound. However, it's not compatible with Headphones that include an in-line Microphone. I recently purchased a pair of Marshall Major Headphones, which itself is an excellent product, but this cable is not designed to accommodate the 4 contact 3.5mm jack that come with inline Mic headphones..Digging out my old pair of Philips headphones with the standard 3 contact stereo jack and all was good. The sound is excellent, with slight attenuation in the top end, but the bass is excellent and makes late night movies a joy at loud bassy volume without disturbing the neighbours or the sleeping kids.

I'm not entirely sure why the product doesn't work, I think it is to do with the female connection. The diameter of the female input is far too large and the jack can move freely inside. I am able to get some sound through it however, it only comes out of 1 ear and is awful. Very disappointing as other comments are all really good. Also, before you guys ask, it isn't my headphones, they work fine and they are 3.5mm.I have requested to return the product.The seller was great and it arrived almost instantly, so please don't be disheartened by my review.

I needed an extension lead for the Sony phones I bought recently as the lead on them is pretty short. This cable seemed like a decent bet for a crazy price and I'm so glad I got it. It seems really well made and the terminations are of a decent quality. I was expecting the sound to be a bit degraded by the extra 5 metre length, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The bass and midrange is still fast and punchy and the treble still gives clear and crisp sibilants. I can now now listen to my music while lounging on my comfiest sofa which is about 12 feet away from my hi-fi, so I'm a happy boy. Highly recommended cable indeed!

Very sturdy after much usage but I try not to rough any electronic items up unnecessarily - so maybe the heavier handed reviewers might say different. Quality seemed good but I'm no audiophile and don't meter the losses due to the length of cable etc. If you want a good strong connector and not bothered about it not being dainty then it's a good buy IMO .I can bet there's a reviewer that's taken the cable apart to count the strands of wire etc

This has to be my best purchase since yes live in chile 1994,connected to my sennheiser headphones its brilliant I hear things I have never picked up even with my panasonic surr system.just watched star trek into the darkness it was awesome I am in another world and it does not disturb my sister. For tech buffs i watch through a panasonic 42inch hd 3d plasma tv and a panasonic 3d blu ray player,I have tried sound insulating (there is a hum) and wireless they do not work for me.have not fell over the wire yet but seems sturdy.

This is an excellent quality and well built cable extension. It serves well for extending any headphone or small speakers connection for up to 5m distance without any loss of sound quality.It is recommended to anyone who needs simple extension - exactly what it has been designed for.
