I weigh variety of things with this and every time I calibrate it it's perfect. Works great, easy to use. Love the color.

Out of the box, this thing looks like a kids toy. It is obviously made of cheaper materials, but that said it functions great. After calibrating with the included weights, this scale seems to be very accurate and precise. So far it functions better than any other cheap scale I have gotten from Amazon, and it offers much greater precision (.000 vs .0). I like that they included all of the calibration weights, tools, and wind cover that you would need for most uses, and also that it is rechargeable, saving me even more money in the long run. Note that the plate is small and best for weighing small objects (max weight is about 50g). It is cheap plastic so we will see how it holds up but so far so good.

When it arrived, I let the scale site over night to let it warm up too room temperature. Next day, got the batteries in and calibrated it with the two 20gram weights. That was just a test. Last week got it back out and calibrated it. Then did my measurement work to make gel cap pills up. Cleaned up everything, took the batteries out and put it all away. Now I have a tool to accurately make up measured pills.

Accurate 50% of the time definitely needs to be calibrated every time it is used. I was not rough with the item at all, and it is packaged and stored in styrofoam to increase protection and still have issues with this measurement device often, if not regularly every single day. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!+

Nice quality scale it measures in several different ways, grains, carats, grams, and about four other weight measurements. Nice quality for the price, easy to set up and use, looks similar to the more expensive RCBS scale which is much more expensive. And is as accurate as the more expensive scale. Plus it has two power modes, can run on batteries or a USB cable as well. I like that option on a scale.

This is an accurate 0.00 gm scale, not a 0.000 one. To be accurate at 0.000 it would have to read 4 zeros after the decimal point. You don't get a laboratory grade scale for $15. For the small amounts I weigh (0.2-0.3 gm), I weigh the small plastic pan first, tare it and then add the stuff to the pan. I like that it was shipped with packing under the scale bed to prevent shipping damage and that it has a breeze cover and bubble level. I could do without the ugly green color tho. Later addition - A small annoyance is that the leveling feet have no tension and spin easily, meaning that once you set it up to be level it will change if you move it. I resorted to using scotch tape to keep them set. This works but is unsightly and could easily fixed at the design level.

This is apparently a load cell based scale, and as such needs to be used on a good, stable, pretty level surface to get the accuracy expected. It comes with cal weights that look to be quality. In use, well supported as noted, I found the readout to be both stable and reproducible. As a retired professional chemist, I know a lot about scales and their care and feeding. This product seems well damped, and has a shielded pan, so stray breezes, etc. can be minimized. Note that the scale is easily overloaded, and like any sensitive instrument, needs careful handling, storage, and use. NOT a toy, but in my opinion, a real buy for the money. I could have wished for a bit more sensitivity, but considering that even at this sensitivity level, it was not long ago that a scale of this sensitivity and capacity would have cost far more, and likely would have been even fussier, more delicate, and required a much better prepared space for good results.

I like the ease and accuracy of the product. When reloading this is very important for safety reasons when shooting.
