Me & Lee: How I Came to Know, Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald

The Strangest Of Love Stories
This is a book about two individuals who became central figures in the JFK assassination but in very different ways. Lee Oswald became the public face of the assassination and author Judyth Baker came along decades later to reveal the truth about Oswald.American hero Jim Garrison knew that witnesses had seen Lee Oswald with a young woman in Jackson, Louisiana in 1963. Garrison wanted to find this young lady since he realized she could probably shed a lot of light about Oswald during Garrison's trial of Claw Shaw. That young lady was Judyth Baker. All things considered it was probably better that Garrison could not identify and locate Judyth because Garrison's trial ignited another round of witness murders which engulfed Judyth's friend, the dark monk David Ferrie. But in my opinion if Lee Oswald or Judyth had been allowed to reveal what they knew way back in 1963 the history of the United States would be very different today. Oswald was silenced by his murder and Judyth was temporarily silenced by fears for her own life and those fears were definitely justified. This is the story of two young people who fell into a deep love but they were both already married to other people in more or less loveless, superficial relationships. Lee Oswald and Judyth realized their marriages had been mistakes and they made plans to leave their spouses and get married themselves. They had similar interests and wanted to go to Mexico and study about the ancient Mayans and just read their Russian literature and live happily ever after. In that sense they weren't much different than many young people. But their plans for marital bliss were poisoned by the sinister world they had been pulled into it.Lee and Judyth were brought together with David Ferrie and Dr. Mary Sherman to try to create a weird cancer biological weapon that was initially intended for use on Fidel Castro. And this really was a biological weapon in the sense that sophisticated techniques were being used to mutate an existing and dangerous pathogen to create a weapon. Judyth was kept on the periphery of this dangerous medical research and ended up working at David Ferrie's apartment performing secondary tasks to create the cancer weapon. The entire cancer bioweapon project is like a conspiracy within a conspiracy. A separate book called "Dr. Mary's Monkey" by Edward T. Haslam tells all about this activity. That's a good book. What's weird about all this is the connection between the bioweapon and the simmering plans to kill president Kennedy. Lee, Judyth, Ferrie, and Dr. Sherman thought they understood what those connections were. But they were dealing with very dangerous and duplicitous forces within the American government, the business world, the medical establishment, and organized crime figures including mafia bosses. Indeed two underlying themes with the JFK assassination story are betrayal and death.Still it's very interesting to read what Oswald, Ferrie, and Dr. Sherman predicted would happen if their cancer bioweapon project was not successful. Their predictions turned out to be true but perhaps not for the reasons they originally anticipated.By early October of 1963 Lee Oswald realized he had ended up on the wrong side of the intelligence apparatus. Oswald wasn't stupid and he understood how that cloak and dagger world of dirty tricks works. But Oswald felt he had gotten in too deep and there was no way he could extricate himself from the situation.Lee Oswald had seen a TV show when he was a kid about a secret agent who had three separate identities. This TV show must have touched something within Oswald because he patterned his life after that James Bond type of person. But unfortunately for Lee Oswald the villains and mad scientists from the James Bond movies turned out to be real.Lee Oswald was interested in the real life murder of Huey Long. The guy accused of killing Huey Long is considered by some people to have been a 'patsy'. This makes Oswald's interest in the Huey Long murder very ironic. In my opinion Judyth Baker is like the voice of Lee Oswald coming to us from beyond the grave. Judyth didn't know all of Oswald's secrets but she knew enough. Her books are probably tying up many loose ends that JFK researchers have wondered about for many years. Thank GOD, they didn't know about her!
I finished the book in a day. In fact, I had to read it twice. I admit that I just got lost in the romance and love story of Judyth Vary Baker and Lee Harvey Oswald. I could see this was not the intent of the author and so I had to read it again. In fact, it is so good, I will be reading it yet again very soon. It was well written and coherent. Baker seemed to be the right person to cover this topic because of her personal connection and relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald. And although you can put only put so much information and proof by documentation, photography, witness accounts, etc ... Enough is given to convince even the most die-hard fanatics of the "OSWALD DID IT" group! I do expect to see another book written by Judyth Baker on the subject.I have always felt that Lee Oswald was an innocent man. It was by chance and good blessings that I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Judyth Baker. It is not often that you meet someone who is as honest and sincere as she and one that fights tooth and nail for truth to be revealed ... that Lee Harvey Oswald was an innocent and did not even fire a shot in an effort to assassinate President Kennedy. He in fact, was trying to save the President of the Unite States!Judyth Baker opens your eyes to how this country was really operating in 1963 and continues to be ran so to this day. Only things are much, much worse today with all of the secrets, lies, deception and just a plain lack of respect for man-kind. Many of the topics of this book have been mentioned before but none were supported or can be proven in such a way Judyth Baker does it. After-all she was his girlfriend!"As a high-school student, Judyth Baker had independently" discovered a method of speeding up cancer growth in lab mice. It came to the attention of top notch doctors an medical researchers, including a renowned surgeon Dr. Alton Oschner, a founder of the world famous Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans."After her sophomore year of college in Florida, Judyth landed a summer job in New Orleans, Louisiana with prominent cancer researcher Dr. Mary Sherman, a physician working with Dr. Oschner.""Within days of her arrival, a man named Lee Harvey Oswald just happened to standing in line behind here at the post office. This seemingly chance encounter began a relationship which drew her through the looking glass into a maelstrom, changing her life forever"."She soon found that, instead of working to find a cure cancer, she was actually helping to create a super-cancer virus for the purpose of killing Fidel Castro. But there was an even ore sinister side.""Over the next few months Judyth met several infamous figures surrounding Oswald; the the fanatical ex-FBI right-wing racist Guy Banister, Mafia Godfather Carlos Marcello, club-owner Jack Ruby, and many others. She also became a friend and workmate of the brilliant of David Ferrie.""Unlike any other book about the events of that year, ME & LEE is a deeply personal memoir relating the author's firsthand experience in New Orleans a lover and confidante of Lee Harvey Oswald." Copied from the cover of the book.Judyth presents her true story in a very personal format. Judyth states, "I believe that any honest person reading this narrative, which offers a day-by-day account of Oswalds last months, will conclude that this agent did not kill, Kennedy, that he was framed, and that his actions were, in fact, courageous and heroic in his efforts to savePresident Kennedy. But he knew to much which was why he had to die." Judyth BakerToday, many people fight with Judyth Baker in the search for justice for Lee Harvey Oswald. The fact that approximately 80-90% of the events written of by Judyth take place in New Orleans, Louisiana is a big plus for readers that search for new knowledge on Louisiana history.I highly recommend this book to everyone and would also recommend reading Dr. Mary's Monkey; How the unsolved murder of a doctor, a secret laboratory in New Orleans and cancer causing monkey viruses are linked to Lee Harvey Harvey, the JFK Assassination and emerging global epidemics.Jim Marrs, states, "If Judyth Vary Baker is telling the truth, it will change the way we think about the Kennedy Assassination."November 22, 2013 will be 50 years since the tragic assassination of our great American President. Many of us feel that our government was stolen from us and the JFK's murderers are still on the loose! I agree.I loved this book. It is written in such a way that makes Lee Harvey Oswald a very real, caring and compassionate person. Not "just a patsy" or a "lone-nut job". A man worthy of the love given him by Judyth Vary Baker. A man, innocent until proven guilty and worthy of justice even i justice comes posthumously.

The background to the JFK Assassination explained
Amazing book from an amazing and brave lady. She tells the story of her relationship with LHO leading up to the assassination of JFK and the shady world they were unfortunate to be part of, despite believing they were acting for the good of the country. Highly recommended. Fills in a lot of blanks about what happened leading up to that fateful day in November 63.

A Must Read For All Who Need To Understand How The World Works
What an amazing read. Judyth is such a brave lady, to have watched her lover murdered live on television and then to have kept her secret for so many years while she brought up her family. She then had the courage to finally collate all her information and produce what was always going to be a contentious read, knowing her life would be in jeopardy and the possibility she may lose her family, which is exactly what happened. She must now be feeling reassured with the latest revelation that someone has now admitted that he was the shooter on the grassy knowle!!!
