Good quality umbrella.
Subject: Lejorain folding 54" umbrella. The umbrella is about as heavy as I expected, near the limit of what I'd comfortably tote around by hand on my 2 to 3 mile dog walks. Any heavier and I'd be looking for a way to strap it onto my back or carrying it in my backpack. In any case, I was forewarned that it would be heavy by researching the customer review comments.I measured it at 48" diameter from outer tip to outer tip. It's very big for one person and comfortably accommodates a second person. When fully extended, the shaft measured 30-1/2" long. Considerably shorter than the manufacturer's description of 37". However, I had been worried that 37" might be a little too long. So, I was happy that it was shorter. For me, 30" is about the perfect length for a compact, collapsible umbrella to be able to extend to.It has 8 ribs, I would have preferred 10 ribs, but it is what it is. Not a dealbreaker. And again, I was forewarned before making the purchase about this detail.I was also cautioned about operating the umbrella. It's spring is very strong. I was warned to careful control the release of umbrella when pressing the trigger mechanism. I was warned that compressing the umbrella back to its original compact form would take a fair degree of effort. Both of these admonitions proved to be true. The umbrella has no wind vents, so its "windproof" claims is solely based on its heavy duty construction and not any specific design element. I haven't been challenged by winds yet. However, the umbrella is robustly constructed and I'm confident that it can withstand at least moderate winds. Not sure whether it can handle any gale force winds.I chose the dark blue with ivory trim color pattern. I find it to be a very attractive umbrella. The wood handle, shiny chrome features, and "Lejorain" embossed button add to its charm. The wrist strap adds a nice, utilitarian touch.Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. 5 stars.P.S.1. Weighed on my kitchen scale, the umbrella came in at 1 lbs. 5 oz.2. Regarding another reviewer's comment about the umbrella shaft needing to be re-designed and strengthened, I examined my shaft and found no structural flaws. It doesn't shake or rattle any more than I'd expect from a compound shaft. It appears to be well-built. For me, it is perfectly adequate.3. Regarding another reviewer's comment regarding the automatic closure feature. For me, it's easier to simply close the umbrella the old-fashioned way rather than go through the two step process of (1) pressing the button to collapse the umbrella and (2) compressing the umbrella back to its original form. IMO, the automatic closure is a novelty feature. It's "cool" to have the umbrella collapse with a click of the button, but it doesn't actually save you any effort.

Good Umbrella
I love this umbrella. It's pretty big, it's easy to pop open and close. I haven't had any issues with it. Amd it's small enough to take on the go

nice large size but broke the first time it flipped
I've had this product a little under a year and it's fine.As other users have noted, it is hard to close, I can't do it one handed, and it is heavy. That said, it's been a good umbrella this past year I've had it. However it did flip during a heavy/windy storm last week (that was my fault, I was carrying too much and didn't keep track of the wind direction) and 3 of the spokes snapped when it flipped back and it's permanently broken so I need to replace it. I've never had one snap like that on the first flip though which was a bummer.Moral of the story: just like with any umbrella, don't let it flip in heavy wind......

Absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy.
Purchased these for my wife during the Black Friday deals and she really adores them. She's around 5'7" tall and as you can see from the images, the coverage is ideal for her. The turquoise and cream color mix is stunning and the umbrella feels quite robust. Actually, it has a decent weight to it! It's not light and flimsy like others! We'll see if it stands the test of time. I'll certainly provide an update if anything snaps or breaks soon.

Great
I love these umbrellas....I had 2 before. They work well, are big and provide excellent coverage, only problem, a bone eventually breaks and then the umbrella refuses to close. But they last several months *more than a year) before that happens.

Great for short time
TLDR: I was happy at first but it lasted a monthI got this umbrella and loved it at first. It was a great size, color matched photos, and it wasn’t too heavy. The problem started a few uses later when I noticed the hardware started to rust and stain the umbrella orange. Shortly after the handle started wobbling and finally I took it out one day and the umbrella jammed and it wouldn’t fully open but I also couldn’t close it. I had to abandon it in the trash because it was a lost cause after 10 mins of trying to open or close it. It was less than a month from the time I bought it to trashing it. :(

Broke within 6 months
after a few months started shutting itself, then part of frame snapped in relatively mild gust of wind. Very poor quality product.
