worth it
put these straight into the fridge to begin defrosting after they were delivered still frozen, took them out out of the fridge tone day later one hour before cooking to get them to rooom temp before cooking, cooked them medium rare, and they were the best steaks that my son and I had ever had, there was a japanese stamp on the packaging, so I honestly believe that they are the real deal from japanall in all, a fabulous experience for our first taste of wagu A1 japanese wagyu steak, so easy to cut and eat, esp if you can only use a fork (knork) like me!will buy again, worth every penny!, 100% melt in the mouth worth it.

Birthday Gift
Bought as a gift for a teenager obsessed with all things steak. This guy has researched and learned to cook all types of steaks to perfection so figured I’d give him a shot at learning to cook the best. He did his thing and put in all the effort to learn what to do and cooked this to perfection as well. Everyone that tried it loved it, to include people that don’t enjoy meat. The steak came ahead of schedule, packaged nicely, still frozen and once thawed and cooked tasted amazing!!! Would definitely purchase again, it tastes like no other steak you can buy and I’d imagine any review stating otherwise didn’t put in the effort of learning to cook this piece of meat.

Waste of money
Waste of money, at the time my wife had a normal fillet which tasted far better

Just to try
I had my steak side by side with another choice cut of steak for comparison and I must say it was beautiful. Of course it’s expensive but for the experience I was very greatful that I was able to get some so easily. It was extremely juicy and it’s just a different level it coats your whole mouth. Something to share with loved ones who love food. I don’t normally do reviews but I feel that this is worthy of a higher rating. For anyone who wants to try this mythical piece of meat I would buy from fine food specialists happily.

Expensive but superb
This was probably the best steak I have ever cooked for myself. Juicy, full of flavour, and so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary. And the claim in the description that a little goes a long way is quite correct - 200g is not a large steak, but it was enough for me, and I have quite a large appetite!

tasted great
tasted decent, cooked well done, put it in a bun with some chips and butter with a can of d&b on the side, not a bad weekday meal
